In my opinion only the leader should be able to initate G vs G........also officers are given to much privledge they can promote or demote someone from the guild............ONLY the leader should be able to do that

If officers can't promote or demote people, then arn't they just regular members?
I agree with the first poster for sure. Only the guild leader and Officers.
and for shinseikaze, if the guild leader doesn't trust his/her officers, then don't make them officers. Problem fixed eh?

There needs to be officers with guild privilages because an entire guild cannot depend on 1 man to be available to to initiate guild battles and functions. Officers are stand in leaders and trusted members who have been deemed worthy to take action in the guild.
I think there aught to be 4 possitions for players in the guild. Leader with full decisive power, Officers who can make decisions under the Leader, Privates who can initiate battles, and Recruites who can only accompany other guild members into battle. This way players who are trusted to decide and players who are trusted to fight are available along side a recruite possition for players you just accepted and haven't gained your trust.
Leaders may not want to give vast numbers of thier players decisive powers just so they can battle on thier own, wile they may still want the vast majority to freely battle without getting one of the officers to acompany them, expeically if that officer isn't interested or adequit for the task. Wile Recruites are only allowed to accompany higher ranking members into battle.

Yes,the officers need to be able to run the G vs.G battles as well.If you do not trust them fully, they should not be officers in the first place. If the Guild Leader was the only person who could initiate G vs. G battles then I believe the leader would get burned out, because everytime he logged on he couldnt go hunt or look for items etc. There would always be a demand for him to be there to initiate the battles.

yeah we had the same problem with my guild we had just got the GH and the very first GvG battle was initiated by an idiot who just wanted to try it out and got beat and dropped our rank considerably so we now have a policy against it but thats not going to stop some fool who may come into the guild and decide to do it anyway and the only punishment is getting kicked out of the guild there needs to be some kind of admin privledges that can be given to certain members be they officers or not but it should be up to the leader who gets these rights
