RYL has a system just like that. You have the same amount of space as your inventory and you just price everything as you put it in. One thing I liked about Knight also, tho the gameplay was kinda boring after awhile

Does anybody know if some information has leaked that says what they're working on for the trading system? Or, if they even are...?

Some people wish to bargin tho. I've been selling runes and so forth and people sometimes wish to trade rune for rune+money which helps the econ. abit so theres the possiblity of having both ways of doing it. If you want to be active in your trading and selling keep how it is, or have the option to set up a "shop" and allow people(any number of people at a time, not just one like in Knight) so that if you wanted you could, like I did in Knight-Online or in RYL, set up your shop set your prices and go AFK for awhile and let anyone come along and buy your items that you don't want/need. Have both of those types could promote more economy because some people dont' have the time to yell out "WTS this this this this and that" for an hour or more to sell their items, they wish to, or need to, do other things like work/school/household chores and other stuff. While their gone if they feel like it just set up their shop and go AFK therefore opening more people up to the economy making it richer correct?
A "Set up shop" feature would be nice and any way that you decied to do it either via your own inventory or your storage should be allowed using both if possible.

A similar idea was set up in the original everquest. A specific zone was set up and set aside specifically for trade and barter and it was called the bazaar. Players then used special merchant bags to price and sell thier stuff. A small interface was aviliable in that zone that allowed you to browse by item, merchent, price and a few other options. This forced players that set up in the bazaar to look around and price similar items competitivly because in all honestly, whose gonna by a sword for 500 gold when you can get the same sword from someone else for 200 gold?
Perhapes this can be set up such in a way as to take from both the auction house and bazaar concepts to create a whole new way of doing things. For instance if you have an auction house setup similar to final fantasy 11 BUT instead of everything being stacked in one single spot so that the highest bid gets the next sale, have it set up so that you can see who, what, how many and how much an item is. That way the character doesnt have to stand around waiting all day for the item to sell and can continue to play the game all the while forcing them to competivly price items against other players.
