Suggestion about Elementalists...
I'm just wondering...every profession has their sets of armor that match, and all the pieces are unique for the set. Except for elementalists, which have different "helmets"(refering to geo aero hydro and pyro) for their different types of armor, but once you get to the 15k sets there's no difference(because they don't exist). I'm just wondering if the designers would take the time to make helmets for the 15k suits of armor for elementalists...

Well, the elementalist uses a third eye to focus the energy source of the element she specializes in. There's only so much you can do graphically with a piece of flaming rock for head gear.

How about the ever elusive Kitty Ears? http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...8&page=1&pp=25
But yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing a slightly different shaped rock to wear on my head.

You can keep your pointy little ears. I want a flaming circlet. I also want "girlier and more normal" hairstyles for elementalists. I will happily pay a NPC aesthetician for a hair style and color change!

I wasn't thinking along the lines of another rock...if you noticed, the elementalist has...striking features...like a princess would and I think it would be fitting to have some sort of Tiara, relating to it's element(like the fire tiara have flames of some sort, etc) with the floating rock somewhere above it,most likely in the front like it is now.

well its not that they don't have new graphics...they dont exist. at all. like the designers dont even plan on making them at all...kind of cruel to leave elementalists hanging and praise the other classes just because they could only think of stones for helmets...
As far as other classes go, I know there's a lot they haven't upgraded the skins for, but I know they're planning to upgrade them...-_- stupid other classes...smite them all with nuke spells -_-

I think a cool Elementalist Ascended headgear graphic could be like glowing markings on the face. Maybe not in a tribal or primitive sense (although that may work for fire) but it would look pretty fantastic, and have that impressive feeling suitable for an Ascended character.

I agree with OP, the headgear for the Elementalists is dull and why would anybody spend 15k on a rock that is the same as the 1.5k one?? Other professions have nice eye-candy headgear, it would be great to see something for the Elem.
On a sidenote, I'm looking forward to seeing the 15k Geomancer set.

Hmm...I really didn't like the 15k geomancer one when I saw it, but different people different tastes I guess:P I personally wouldn't mind seeing the full pyro or aero ones, though I'm getting them all eventually And hopefully by then, a new Elementalist helmet will be implemented...? I hope they are...

Yes, that's why I created this topic. So there would be 15k helmets for elementalists.
Originally, I was thinking Tiara for females and Crown sort of things for males, but there's some other great ideas in here too like tattoos and such.

Already got two parts of my 15K geomancer armor, like the look of it since my boobs look biggest in them and because it looks badass!
But in anycase you don't have to make a armor 60 headgear for elementalists, you get them from collectors

The thing about a ring, is that it would be small, and there's really nothing special about them, because you couldn't make them an elaborate display to say "Mwa ha ha ha, I have ebil armor and all you poor weaklings shall bow before me!" I'd rather have a helmet that says "Sit down or your head's coming off...NOW!"
Plus I still don't think it's fair that all the other professions get cool helmets, and Elementalists get a rock...same for both genders...same through the entire game. You get your choice of rock, sure, you get to pick 1/5 through the entire game. I just thought it'd be nice to have a little variability...

Why have a ring, when you can have a nuke
But I would like to see things like rings... ring of defence... ring of blinding... ring of lighting... etc...
You could make them stand out by having them glow or something.

Well if rings were added, the way I think you're wanting, the dev team would have to recreate a lot of the game, including how monsters react to certain rings and such. Also, it wouldn't make much sense to go from a stone hovering on your head to a ring...would it?

You guys know the necro's get a scar...the same scar...always, no matter what, right? It just powers a different attribute...but looks no different, at all. None. At least you guys can have a green, blue, or red thingy with a different shape. All we have is the same scar forever that doesn't even dye correctly. Why not give us some necro variation for headgear! (If there is a different necro-face thing I haven't seen it, but I didn't buy ALL of them.)

well you know, when it comes to tatoos, they can always change the skin to it. There's a lot of skins the dev team needs to on, and with something like tatoos, it's really easy to update the graphics. But for the Elementalist, it's not as easy, because you can't just change the graphic for their rock, it really isn't possible. And if you'd like to know, Elementalist's aren't allowed to dye their headgear. You buy it, it stays that way through the entire game. Even if your dyeing works wierdly, you at least get to dye it, and there's a pattern most likely on a website by now. Elementalists really don't get much at all when it comes to headgear. They get 5 rocks, can't be dyed, and they never change one bit except their defense.
