The top 5 things this game needs to fix/improve asap I'm sure everyone is with me
1.) Getting 100k exp + for a single skill point is unreasonable grinding... Add a npc who sells skill points for money... This will serve several purposes... It will a.) Fix the skill obtaining grind b.) Add a sink for end game money thus increasing the value of the ever dropping gold c.) make me happy :P
Price it at say 1000 for the first point and double it for each one after that capped at 20k... so 1k,2k,4k,8k,16k, and 20k for each after that...
Makes it reasonable yet difficult enough to have merrit (ok I've got several hundred K gold so maybe lower prices would be better for everyone else but whatever)...
2.) Fix the NPC noclip bug... Either add a 'return to me' command where you teleport them to your location once per death, or add a 'killnpc name' command to end the game ending pve bug where they go all superman on you and fly away. They have been aware of this issue since the betas and still have not fixed it.
3.) Add more collector locations, with more collector items from the PVP arena's... It makes no sense for pvp characters to get way better equipment that pve ones (without dropping 100k+ on each piece)...
4.) Put up a new town with the exclusive purpose of trading... Say Traders Villa located out in someplace where nothing else is and accessable to everyone... Instead of districts have quality of items, dist 1 = to low grade dist 10 = to +30 pommels, sup runes, and the such...
5.) Not that I care but enough complaints and questions to warrent it... Put a 'viewable' look on each of the 15k and rifts/underworld armors... priced at 5k to take a look at one of the complete sets so ppl know what they are getting into, and not so cheap that every little kid gets to see them

They need to un-nerf the skill trainers and give them more skills.

Yes, yes, good god yes! The option to kill your henchmen would be great as it would stop the annoying thing of dying and then sitting there, 1 min from the end of a long crawl, watching a henchman float in mid air/keep running between a rock and a hard place without being able to escape.
As for the other stuff... buying skill points could be ok, at the moment it's a bit of a grind to unlock all the skills with one character (I'm making it so that my R/Xx is as versatile as possible). I'd personally love it that once you reached a certain town with a new character, if you'd unlocked the skills with your old character, the skills for that town would then be unlocked for your new character. It's hard to think that even after I unlock all the skills with the Ranger primary, my Monk primary can't access them.

Very good suggestions, however I kinda disagree with your first one. Well not with the idea of a money sink that would help the economy a bit. But really requiring cash for skillpoints is no less of a grind then XP, XP isn't really hard to come by afterall. But 9k+ gold can be, in my experience I'll obtain 100k xp before I obtain 20k gold (especially since I have so many missing bonuses). Also I'm not really into farming, bores the hell outta me.
One suggestion, PvP bets I'd like the idea to make PvP battles just that much more interesting. Putting a little gold on the line would make me fight just that much harder. Also it's not really gambling either, it's fake money. Plus Arenanet could tightly control this kind of in game gambling, unlike the casinos of a few weeks ago.

I say make it 20K per skill point but try to ration them out guy. You can only have 8 skills on your bars so you don't need 150 learned. I understand that people want to try different things out. That's okay. But you don't need all the skills from both classes.
I don't think people will follow #4 all that much.

All say aye...
Agree with the OP; and let me add these:
- A switch to turn on LFG: no more spamming zones.
- A dark background for the text box and larger fonts for those of us without eagle vision.

For NPC's ... A general drop down under the player list with options like:
[Form on Me] <- (NPC's Stay within Aread of Detection of Leader)
[All Hold] <- (NPC's stay out of the Area of Detection of Monsters)
[All Attack] <- (NPC's attack the nearest Creature)
[All Retreat] <- (form on me is pretty much the same thing but with retreat ... npc's directly retrace their original path back in the direction they came from)
[All Rescue/Recover] <- (all able NPC's resurrect/heal fallen/hurt NPC's or Characters)
[Free Roaming] <- (pretty much the way the NPC's are now, Stand around like idiots untill attacked =) )
This can also double as a General Order to player characters as to the general strategy the group leader has in mind.

I like the idea of having a command to kill the henchmen once all human players are dead. So Im all for idea #2.
Stev0's idea above: Yeah having a drop down menu that tells other human players or henchmen what the plan of attack/defense is a great idea.

They need a method to get more skill points as this is horrible grinding at its worst...
They should also put in several end game gold sinks, like the one i've mentioned, a gamble option for runes, a NPC who for X gold improves items (so say you got a crystal sword of 15-21 damage with 12% hexed and stuff.. You goto him and pay 10k to alter mods...
Max the base damage = 10k-25k
Add 15% damage while... = 25k-100k
Add health / other mods... = 25k-100k
So that players could more easily obtain the 'uber' equipment they want, but at such a price that gold would be going out the window to do it
Give a 'Mapper' NPC who maps out zones for you (locate him in say ember) for 1k per world zone (really nothing spiffy but something ppl will anyways dump some gold into)
Give a skill point trader (at say lions arch to reduce the farming of new chars for skill points)
Give say 1-5k gold for each point traded into the trader and 25-5k to buy a point from the trader or whatever...
Put in a 'monster' arena area... 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 fights... pve... You keep going until your
team is defeated and you get rewards based on how long the fight lasts... Have it be like 1k - 50k entrance fee... The more money spent the bigger the rewards for winning...
Add a sacrifice for the favor of the gods shrine at the temple... 1k = 1/20th of a point of favor... Anyone can dump as much gold as they want into it and it just adds up to taking favor from another country or holding your own favor...
Add a magician teleporter at Ascalon who can teleport your character to the main town of your choice (droknors forge 100k, lions arch 25k, henge 50k, oasis 75k) for a price
this will definatly get those of us with hundreds of thousands of gold to dump money to get low level chars to end game places for the equipment and whatnought there...
Perhaps station a 'shrine' at the start of every zone near a town... Where you can buy for gold the % bonus or the heal thing for a price... increase the price required to get each bonus 5 fold... (250/500)...

If you could buy skills and transfer them, it would defeat the purpose of actually making a second character. You would just use your primary to unlock everything including elites, and just give them to your other characters. Having to unlock them with each character keeps you doing quests and elite-skill hunting.

I'm pulling around 15k-16k exp per level(I don't calculate exactly) for a skill point. And I don't grind. If the counter didn't stop at 20, it would say level 42 right now for me, and I have yet to "grind"(where did this term come from...I've played tons of other MMORPGs and this is the first to use..."grind")
If you don't like that PvP people get better items than PvE people...it might be wise to play a PvP character with the PvE items you unlocked on it...just a thought. Call my crazy but it's always easier to find a superior vigor rune, sell it for massive gold, make a PvP char with a helm of superior vigor and be happy. It costs 0 gold, and you get your pvp items. Don't complain about this...seriously...
I agree with the trading town, but there has yet to be a decent trading system set up in GW so it would be hundreds of people spamming the chat channels. Local and Trade alike...
If you're going to invest 75k of your gold into getting vanity armor, take the risk.

That is a bad idea, it simply allows low characters to reach points that sould not be at that time (its bad enough having lv20 helping guild members to pass the ascension trials so they can be lv 20) and it breaks the storyline.
Not to say they could just go there, gear up and go back with superior armor, weapons and skills.
