Suggestions ((Additional Races, Classes, Weather Patterns, Day/Night, Auction House))
Well, I'm going to start off by praising the game. I absolutely love this game, you peoples at ArenaNet and NC have done an awesome job with this game!
Now, onto the suggestions, I've got four...I think...
First, MORE RACES. This may easily include a dwarf as well as other races. I know this may end up with the neccessity of starter towns or something...but I think it'd be an awesome idea. Maybe it will come along in a future expansion pack or something.
Second, MORE CLASSES. I'm talking like ninja, samurai, thieves, rogues, paladins, etc. I don't know I'm kinda just pulling theses ideas out of nowheres. Again, possibly in a future expansion pack.
Now these next two suggestions I can see as a reality in an update or a patch of some sort. ^_^ Here Goes...
Third, WEATHER PATTERNS & DAY/NIGHT TIME CYCLES. I love the environments in this game, but come one...don't you think it'd be even more rich and beautiful if it rained every once in a while? I bet Pre-Searing Ascalon at night would look simply stunning...Again, just a suggesstion...which I think would make a WONDERFUL add on.
And Fourth, AUCTION HOUSE. I know I may be kind of stealing this idea from Final Fantasy XI, but I think the game REALLY NEEDS an auction house. It'd make shopping a lot easier for everyone other than looking through the constant spammed messages in Ascalon City District 1 to try and find that item you're looking for before it's lost with the other messages. So, maybe there could be an Auction House where you put an item up for sale and people can "bid" on it or just buy it directly...items would be on sale for two weeks or until the player cancelled the sale...thus the item would return to his/her storage ((which would probably have to become a lot bigger if this comes to reality)).
There you have it...out of all of these ideas, I would like to see the last two become a reality at least. I thank yous peoples for your time in reading what I have to suggest for the game. ^_^ Take Care All!

Races & Classes have been covered in other threads, so you probably won't find a lot of criticism in this specific one. Generally, I think people have stated that Dwarves MAY or MAY NOT fit into the game later, and things like ninjas and samurais don't fit in at all. Thieves and Rogues, possibly, I think some peopel are in favor of these, and I believe you can create a Paladin out of a w/mo build.
Weather & day/night:
Would be nice, I think, but it's not important. Perhaps, after the devs get more important things out of the way, then they can think about minor details like making the moon and sun rise.
Auction House:
Again, covered in MANY many threads - hopefully one of the admins will create a main thread and sticky it, so all the posts can be in one place.

How about... all of "your" ideas have been suggested dozens of times by other people and discussed to death, which you would know if you tried out the search function?

The search function is rubbish and you know it is... thanks for adding your "feedback" into the thread.
All your ideas have in fact been discussed before... never seen anything about night and day on the forum... but looking at the way the game operates I don't think its possible.
Besides we really don't need it anyhow... can't see it being that great a thing to add in.

Ah...night and day...it was cool for a game to obsess over the natural things we witness on a daily bases...but usually, an RPG(yes, I can use 'an' there) with day/night is just too obsessed with nature it doesn't focus on the community, or the real point to the game.

Actually, the booklet thing has 4 seasons, each with their own elemental attunement...which will hopefully be implemented in later chapters some way(you never know, those programmers are crafty people O_o)

Well I would like to see if added, but its a bit more complex then one would think, its not a matter of just lowing the lighting to create shadows over items... it would required some new textures to be made for the sky for example and that's where the time will be taken to implement it all. Maybe in the future.

Yeah, I remember there are season names and element alignment for those. Not sure if those really kick in. Like, if this is the Zephyr season and Air is aligned, does Air do more damage than Fire?

Well...I'm sorry for stepping on any toes with "my" ideas. LOL. I was asuming several of these had already been discussed...I just felt like throwing them in for added support, you know?
Well, I was just thinking about the whole day/night cycles and weather patterns as just things to make the game more pretty. I just find it kind of odd for it to be daytime ALL the time in presearing ascalon. ^_^;;;
Well, sorry to annoy any of you guys and have fun playing the game. ^_^
