At least minor ones if nothing else.

I believe this has been taken care of with the new patch. No need to keep them...just sell them to the vendor if no one else.

The 25 gold is just the starting price. Give it another few days and the price will rise to reflect demand. I think 25 is just the default price.
On the original post:
NO. I do not want runes to stack in inventory. Just as I do not want weapons stacking in inventory.
The reason is inflation. As a player, the most items you will ever have is 200, that's total across all 4 characters. So if you want to keep that Superior rune of yours, then it's going to take up space. Space that could be put to better purposes, only you know. But because of this, eventually you will probably want to get rid of that rune. And your desperation is good for the economy because it keeps the prices low.
It's the same thing about Sigils and other stuff. There's lots of gold out there right now. Desperation for storage space is helping drive many people to sell the lower end stuff. And as time goes on, eventually higher end items will drop as well.
Just my opinion.

The way the game is created, they can't really put a price tag on things like Runes, Dyes, Materials anymore, because it's all about what the people want. For example, yesterday, you could sell Minor Fire Runes for 2 plat...sell them...
To buy it was 3 plat, for a minor. Which I think people can agree on because fire is the most commonly used attribute on elementalists.
So basically, when an item is in high demand, meaning it's a good item, and people want to use a lot of it, the price will be high. That is also how the pricing on a Superior Vigor rune can be so outrageous at the moment. If you wait to let prices settle, as they always do, then pricings will even out in a few days.
To the Original Post:
If you start stacking runes, people are going to horde them. Simple as that. And it's not like minor runes are the worst runes in the game, they're pretty much the best to use(in PvE), because no one wants to lose loads of HP on their Superior runes when it comes down to lasting longer in long fights(like the titans).
Plus, if you can stack minor runes, you can buy 100s of them cheap(real cheap) and when people start hording the same rune, the price raises, and you sell for more than you bought...and it would make a huge loophole in the economy, and we don't need that.
