maybe i'll just go find a game where the Devs actually give a shit about what their customers think rather then how much their paycheck will be this week.
Ridiculous

Uh, they do. They not only create updates with thing we request, they do it quickly...
Maybe it's just that your suggestions are not supported/good/important enough to be implemented right now. i have found that, on the whole, ANet actually does "give a shit". And just because your impatient doesn't mean that you have to slander them
And also, most companies are much, much worse than this...

I agree with this idea. I've been playing several times and hoping to catch somebody in my guild for one reason or other.

Also they must review the way you locate people in the cities/outposts etc.
When someone whispers or tells "add me to your party" in lets say, Lions Arch to put a big city, you have to press Control, and keep reading all the names you see (sometimes 100s or so) until you find him.
I think and idea would be copy the name to "clipboard" with a double click in the chat window and be able to paste it in the party/buddy/clan/etc windows.
Also, an arrow pointing the dude would be fine

It works like that.
Just don't double click put CTRL+C to copy the name of this guy to your clipboard.
No you can paste it in the Group-Invite field and press Return I do it all the time.
The one thing that's bad is if you want to trade... No way to say "trade with john doe" you need to select the player to trade
But group invite works great - allthough there should be a name-completion feature like in IRC...

still stickin with my original idea...
a timestamp and an indicator indicating when a guild member or friend logs in or out
however , my clan and my clanmates will not let me stop playing simply because these ideas are not implemented. But what they dont know is that im playing SWG now in my spare time...heh
