I used to play conquer online and agree with the idea that friend chat is next to useless unless everyone involved has everyone else on their friends list, otherwise you keep getting half of a conversation sent to you, many times in conquer-online I would end up in the situation where someone on my friends list would be chatting to someone else on their friends list who wasn't on mine also, consequently i'd keep on recieving only half the converstion which is annoying.
