hello, Im from the europian servers and well... europe suck at HoH and I saw only once that we had the favor of the gods, and that's the problem...
I worked so many hours on my charcter and I know I will never see eather underworld or fissure, I will never be able to get the xp needed for me to get all skills, get some decent amount of money, or get a FoW armor no metter how hard I work
so my take is, change the favor of the gods system and do something else when you win the HoH.
post a /singed if you agree *pretty sure most of the ppl who will post will be in the euro servers*

Posted this suggestion ages ago, but all the americans posted 'It don't need changing it works fine'.
I hope they do change it, escpecially now they have changed the PvP rewards system.
Only time will tell.

um i dont know about you but for some reason that i sign onto GW Europe always has the favour of the gods for a good hour or so.. i dont know maybes it because i play in the mornings but i see at night America/Korea having it alot threwout the afternoob/night time

Most of the end of this week, I've seen either Europe or Korea have favor, and usually a fight between the two. Americans all on vacation this weekend??

I personally thing all three regions have the favor almost equally, but people still complain. Just learn when your country (region) usually has favor of the gods, and go into UW then

i spend quite alot of time playing this game, and i almost never see europe get favor, the few times i have seen it, they lose it in an around an hour, 1 person in my guild, thats on all the time while im not on, says europe NEVER gets favor during that time, so if they almost never get it while im on, and they never get it while im not, that means that most people in europe never get a chance to go down to underworld or fissure
so something should be changed to let those people have a chance to go down to those places

Im in the American region, and of the times I've logged onto guild wars, I usually see either Korea or America with the favor. Europe has favor sometimes too, but not as often as the two (from what i've seen myself).

I have hardly played inthe last 2 weeks, but before that only saw euro with favour once and a guildie told me it was the second time they had seen it.
That is playing afternoons amd evenings GMT.
I am a slacker as some putting and have been living off monies earned through selling my last house. So I have had plenty of time to play, more than the majority. (upto 8-10 hours, per day basically bar weekends which is faimly time, i.e. my son is not in school.)
So unless things have change a lot in the last 2 weeks, having an equal share of favour of gods is a crock of siht.

erupoe gets the favour soem of the tiem - im nz so i tend be on at tiems that very to the rest of the world

however, i do notice a disticint bias towards america/korea when it comes to favour - so there may be reason to change it, all htough im not 100% sure on this (id really want to see Anets statsictcs for it)

Just from the times I am on. I regularly see Korea get favor with America just behind them and VERY rarely see Europe in favor.

I agree something needs to be done. Unfortunately I have no idea what can be done.

The favor system should be removed, it's really the biggest thing about this game that has me scratching my head, don't have a clue why this is in (wait, actually, the inability to kill henchies in a solo party after you're dead is the biggest thing that has me scratching my head, that or head lice). The sorts of hardcore pvp players who win it probably don't even benefit from having access to underworld/fissure.

Really, the biggest reason to change it is for the benefit of those who can only play at odd hours for their region. These zones need to either be permanently open or temporarily unlocked by a difficult guild PVE event (the game needs guild pve events).

I normally don't see Europe with the Favor. However, for some reason, this whole week a feud between Korea and Europe has formed. Europe tends to have the favor at noon, give or take a few hours [PST].

I wouldn't complain [since I'm American], but if this trends keeps up, I just might.

That being said, Im bigger and stronger and smarter than...kidding.

I really dont like the way the 'Favor of the Gods' currently works. I think it promotes too much competition between everyone, specifically American and Korea. These two countries have enough problems, now their youth spend all day killing each other online and of course, this causes tension. I know I have seen many anti-Korean posts in this forum. I think each account should have a choice of following one....something or another, maybe a deity. The system would work the same as it is now, except your deity would have to have the favor instead of your region.

Guilds would also become more interesting, as everyone in a guild would have to worship the same deity to PvP. Make it so you can change your deity, but make the quest to do so extremely difficult.

And before you post it, I dont think it should be a deity either, but I cant think of anything else atm.

Yes I'm another American, as for the HoH, I can't see a problem with it. But, for the sake of boredome and research, this is what I've found.

Europe - Approx (1300)-(1600)PST
America - Approx (1800)-(0100)PST
Korea - Approx (0000)-(0500)PST

This is the average of what I've seen. All other times before (1300) or after (0500) I haven't been around to keep track of. Not to say the country controls it ALWAYS at these times, but this is the average of what I've seen who is usualy in charge. No, it's not scientific, I can't prove it all mathematicaly, it's just me averageing my notes on the wall. I hope this helps in some way so others can feel their country or players have a chance to hit UW or FoW. Good luck! ^^

A side-effect of Europe having the "Favor" so rarely (or at least it being perceived as such), is that whenever Europe gets the favor, people are abandoning their current missions to access the Underworld.

I have already experienced several times that people left the mission with the excuse "gotta go to the underworld, now Europe has the favor".

I like the favor thing
And yes its a shame that europe hasnt got fame so much but i like the feeling when now in enter the tombs its like oh no Koreans. Or Eu Teams oohw should be able to win that.
And seeing favor switch countrys. Realy like that
Im from Eu btw and never ever came to the HoH
Wich is a shame, perhaps with my guild sometime
