Something that NEEDS to be fixed.
Ever been through the process of trying to get a team together or something and as soon as you step outside the zone:
Connecting..............
Ever been through a whole instance with a party that took forever to get through and as soon as you zone in to the next instance:
Connecting..............
What about the general annoyance of getting into a zone and you have to go through the inconvenience of restarting the client because you keep getting:
Connecting..............
ArenaNet needs to fix this and should have done so long ago. I know they can't help with an iffy connection but what they need to do is instead of connecting, timing out then freezing because it can't do anything, continue to connect. If it times out, refresh and reattempt the connection. It really can't be that hard. It also would save a lot of grief.

me either... you on a dial up connection or something? Just wondering... Thats the only time I ever see people drop off is when they are on Dialup OR have never been there before and it needed to download the files for the instance before they connect. the rest of the party is normally all threre waiting on them, and we often jsut start the mission and go back for them if they happen to spawn behind us.

When I first got the game (with a cable connexion mind you ) I sometimes had a tough time connecting when I switched areas. It would say something about "Error #5" and that the requested server couldn't be reached. But, for about 4-5 weeks now, I haven't had this problem.

:\ I'm on a 1mb connection getting these timeouts when switching zones sometimes.
I thought this was common from the amount of people that join the group, zone and then never join the game and they unfortunately get dubbed as leavers.
