Yeah but Oink! never dies, takes down enemies like a champ and then returns without a spec of dust on him. He is a god.

The only reason Oink doesnt die, or take damage... Is because he is needed for bonus.(Gates of Kryta)

They need to make other NPC's like Oink. Jalis and Evennia come to mind with their suicidal charging into mobs and ruining your mission.

He doesnt really help. Sure he might distract the enemies for a bit but the moment you try to damage the enemies, they go straight for you.

yes yes yes... all in fun... sure.. but let me ask you this...
When I see a thread, I mouse over to read the first line to see if it interests me. How many of you saw the word Oink! and immediately clicked without even looking at the other thread titles???
no question: Oink! rocks!!!! I don't think I'd like to see him as a god in the expansion, but I'd love to see him make a return. Not just a return, but a cool return where he's the center of a decently sized quest... or maybe a couple

Oink does indeed rock. He's the most indestructible piggy in the universe, but in a really cool way. (I'm not sure that there is an uncool way to be indestructible...) Anyhow, I did that mission a couple of times thanks to people pulling out or standing at the start or dying thanks to shadow phantoms, and through it all Oink stayed strong and true. When the rest of the party was dead, Oink lived on. After I'd finished the bonus I took him back through the rest of the mission with me, just so I know someone would stay loyal to the mission and not leave (abandonment issues anyone?).
Here's to Oink!

Don't hate the player, hate the game....
Wait... don't hate the game either...
A friend of mine and I went on a dragon run (before they nerfed it ), and because we went by ourselves we usually attempted to avoid most of the combat with the undead, unless absolutely necessary. Well, one time I accidentally clicked on Oink and he came with us, we destryed the undead with little effort (we didn't have much of a choice because that little porker hates undead), and then when we got to the swamp portion of the map, he goes wading in and, (I swear he was drinking the water too) he comes out without getting sick at all! I get near the swamp and I'm on the ground sick as anything, but not Oink!
Then because of the "run" status, we didn't talk to the father and son duo. Guess what?!?! Oink came with us! Let me tell you, Oink is a drake slaying mother trucker too.... If I could, I'd invite Oink into my guild...
He's the man!
Errr... Pig.

Oink is unbelieveably cool, and for so many reasons. One time the party took oink along as we went to kill the drakes, and someone picked up the tomb, and everyone died but good ole oink and I. needless to say I was scared, but I noticed that the ghosts all just stood there (probably out of fear) as oink pounded the hell out of them...I got half a level just for watching oink completely dominate the opposition. he's not only a good guy, but also an inspiration. He gives hope back to the little guy who is sick of being bullied. I'm telling you one thing...it was a sad goodbye when we had to trade in oink for the "reward" of going and getting that old guy that stupid old book that nearly got us killed. But I can't thank you enough oink. You've changed the lives of myself and countless others.
