Guild Suggestions
I may be wrong on some of these...and they may actually exist. If I am, please inform me as I would be very VERY interested.
The guild structure of "Guild" Wars is kind of shabby. I used to...a LONG time ago, play muds which had very structured clans.
1. Guilds should cost money to create and maintain. Maybe less on the maintain part, but when everyone can start their own guild...it becomes less special. No one wants to join guilds anymore, they just want to create their own "3" person guild. And one of the three are randos.
2. Guilds should be able to join together. Make a...kind of super-guild. Alliances should I say, should be able to be made official. Where there would be an alliance channel were you can talk to all the allies of your guild.
3. Guild ranks. This you may want to inform me able. I see guild points...but they are meaningless to me. They do nothing. There should be guild ranks, the more guild pts you have, a bonus is given to the guild. Such as higher hp, higher energy, something at least.
4. Guild member ranks. So far I've only seen Leader, Officer and Member. 3 ranks just isn't enough. What has communism tought us? That humans need a constant promotion/prize of some sort to continue...living peacefully. There should be more than 3 ranks you can give your members.
5. Guild list. Please inform me if there is such, but I haven't seen anything for a full guild list. This could be easily integrated with the guild ranks, as just put the points beside the guild in the guild list.
Guilds may seem small, but they're what make or break a game. A good community is always a plus side. Instead of having many bad guilds with terrible leaders and few members, there'd be more good guilds with good leaders and many members. When I say many members, I'm thinking around 30-50, not 5.
