give and take people, its the Balance, their trying for, but like the gods smacking eachothers People to get their one-up on eachother, the scales go up and down...ok, so today, they are up for the PvPers, which is good for them. tomorow, it should be up for PvE, and if it isnt, remember, theres only so far down you go, till your scales fall over and you have to get the Eternal WeighingScale God to pick it back up again....^^
if A.net falls over, they will KNOW it! and fix it..or else the peeps in the bottom pan will tell their mates not to buy the game, and sales will drop. where i am, the game is no2 best seling PC game in Game shops, agains standard fair like FPS and Grand theft auto :P
eveyone i know that plays the game has done so after hearing about it from others that liked it, so unless they start doing 2 adverts, one to pull in PvE'rs and another to pull in PvP'rs and air them like they were a tom cruse movie or GTA:san andreas lol, there gona lose out if they upset their playerbase....
just remember, the squeeky wheel may get the grease, but the SECOND mouse gets the Cheese!!!
*Snap!*

I wasn't talking about the people at ANet not getting paid. I was talking about the 2845 project...I know the people at ANet get payed...but they're offering their servers to us for free...and they don't have to. They could pull a Microsoft and ***** their servers for every penny possible.
Anyways, more recently, I'd have to agree that almost all the updates since GW came out have been focused on whiny PvPers...and little has gone to PvE in comparison. Check their update archives...PvP updates are always formatted, because they're so large, and PvE updates just get dinky little bullets next to them because it's not important enough...

I think the European market will grow. and we will have them competing for favor in larger numbers soon. I personally look forward to that. I like competing for access to Bonus missions. I think that was a very creative way to encourage people to play or at least TRY PvP competition.
I personally like the update alot. I just didn't like the err=7 problem right as it was released. lol I'm glad on both PvE and PvP fronts...
soon new missions and new bonuses. so they are not done yet. they specifically said those were next and to not feel left out PvEers.

To be honest, I've never seen so many people whine and moan about everything and anything related to this game or any other game for that matter.
This isn't just pointed at this thread but every other thread in forums out there, where people are just not satisfied when something new comes through.
I congratulate ANet and the Guild Wars team for putting up with all the %&*@ you whiners and moaners give out.
I would just love to see the whiner and moaners produce a game, programmed, developed and released and then see your reactions to all the BS you guys come up with pointed at them for there efforts in there game.
Damn it people, stop the whining and moaning. If you keep it up, ANet may just think sod the lot of you and go off and start on something else.
I say congrats to Anet and the Guild Wars team for the work they do and putting up with everything they have too with you bunch of negative moaners.

Bah Sandman...all I can say is, go play some of the other popular online games in the fantasy genre - Guild Wars is simply superior to them in every way except "wealth of detail" - because they didn't have Sony Corp. behind them or other deep pockets.
It will come.
If you need help, give me a holler - always glad to lend a hand when I can.

They couldnt even space it out pick the quest up at one side of transition pass through the transition and kill small mob on other side to complete
Feck the guards do most of the damage Must have took um all of 2 mins to write that one. And you can do it in under 15 seconds. If you dont beleive me go do it and let me know
And people wonder why us PVE whine

ooh... another month to wait for a free update that includes two new explorable zones with outpost(s) and quests... live streaming patches every week to fix bugs and balance... a total of 6 new quests added since I started paying attention... scammers, exploiters and bot accounts banned... PvP reward system upgraded (not changed, but expanded)... traders upgraded... item icons upgraded... beer added...
every single week! EVERY week, something is fixed, usually something that has been a hot issue on the forums for the previous week or two. Even if it's only something minor, there is something EVERY SINGLE week! And often it's not something minor.
show of hands, who really thinks that Anet isn't listening to the community and isn't doing a damn good job at trying to fix things?

Seems its all on the PVP side
Balance no chance yet
PVP Reward speaks for its self
Traders kill off PVE farm and Economy because of PVP
Again PVP benifit from new Scrolls
Something is repaired do you mean
The quests added were far to simple to give the game longevity for Lvl20+

Did the gastropod mention its free?
No additional cost to you...SOE charges extra for the priviledge to see your broken class online for petes sake...it's over $20 a month if you add all their BS "enhancements" AND the game (EQ2) is completely unbalanced - they freely admit it and are "working" on a complete redo of their combat system for crying out loud!
Oh yeah, GW really blows compared to that...NOT.

hmm... perhaps we could solve all these problems by simply having no more updates.
Pathing bugs... bored of quests... item descriptions confusing... AI lacking... difficult to obtain long term objectives... tough.

Because you are not the only one playing this game, and they make updates for LVL 20's as much as they do for low level players and newcomers. Endgame is not all there is to the game. There is an actual progression that sometimes needs to be tweaked as well.

They just made a massive PvP update, and you're surprised it mainly focused on PvP?!

You'd have to be some kind of moron to believe that those quests were intended to breathe bnew life for Lvl 20 players.
That simply solidifies my conclusion that you are just a big whiner with a piss-poor attitude.
They clearly stated that PvE was up next on the drawing board, but all you've done is bitch and moan because you want it NOW!!

Well of course the Quests in Old ascalon and lions arch areas are going to be Easy. Those are easy areas... Just don't do them till you restart the game on a secondary character then, otherwise OF course doing it as a lev 20 is going to be a breeze, just as the 1st 2nd and 3rd missions are a breeze for a lev 20 now... Heck Even Sanctums Cay is easy now with a lev 20 character... and that's the most advanced mission of the old areas.
And yes they have stated that PvE missions and stuff was NEXT... so not to feel left out. but the PvP systems in Arenanet opinion needed some tweaking right away. and that was what they felt was more important at that moment, then to make new material for the few that have rushed through the game to the last mission available and not continued playing with other builds.
I played with a total of 6 professions and unlock tons of stuff..
R/W M/E N/Mes only one character is done everything currently available, the rest are up to the desert finally. getting all your builds up through the map is not easy and takes some time, But I am happy with my PvE experience all in all, each build has unique qualities, and I am taking my time with the game this time, not just rushing to the last thing and then having to wait and wait for new stuff... Heck people are still JUST buying it now, and are Still back in presearing... Is it so wrong of them to code for the new people to the game as well?
I suppose you will be upset when they release new quests in Pre-searing cause your primary lev 20 can't go back and do them now right? Go away... thats just silly...
