1.) Nobody is ever online.

2.) If anyone is online they never speak, or have anything to do with the other members.

3.) The Guild charges any kind of fee, dues, whatever for membership or otherwise..

4.) The Guild leadership refers to its members as "NOOB" "SUXXOR" "PWNED" or any other variety of genital-envious misnomers.

5.) Members up and quit for no good reason; missions, quests, guild.

6.) People would rather talk smack than organize and actually do something. The guild is nothing but a "smack-talk" chat channel. You already get that for free with local chat in any mission or city zone!

7.) The leaders spend all their time bragging about their uberness and mad skillz but can never actually do anything.

8.) During missions, farming and "drops" is more important than the mission goal.

9.) Loot is constantly fought and argued over.

10.) Losing a PvP or GvG match results in a shouting match to determine who is the most genitally challenged.

If your guild demonstrates any of the above, exercise good judgement, hit your "G" key, and select yourself to immediately disband.
You'll thank yourself in the long run, and your guild will have to search for new people to abuse instead of you.

Only 1 and 2 apply to my guild... Still, I have been thinking about leaving lately.

Not that I disagree with some of your points but...are you making a suggestion here? This is what's in the forum description:

So...if you're making some sort of suggestion and just couldn't get it all typed into one message, whoot!

If not, maybe it should be moved to the Off Topic/Bizarre forum?

I have had number one happen to me, everyone left for WoW (entirely serious). I left for a guild that is actually on. Unfortunately, the guild I joined has 2 officers, so that decreases the chance of a guild battle.

I thought I was...lol.
We had a fellow join ours the other night from a previous guild that was guilty of ALL the above. Go figure...I've seen plenty of proof that guilds like this are common - not the exception.

I would think that it would be impossible to have all of the above. As some of them are pretty much the opposites (1 and 2, 2 and 7, 6, or 4)
