Quick estimate on prices for the materials is about 1 plat + 5 plat to craft one of these = 6 plat? It would be nothing other than a mistake to even consider to use this trader.

Current prices at scroll trader to buy these:

Hero's - 1,919
Berserker's - 1,859
Slayer's - 1,658

Normally Hero's is higher, I think when I looked in the past couple of days it was ~3K. I suggest they put this crafter in line with the trader somewhat.. otherwise what is the point of it existing?

I really detest the insane rarity and price of black dye and I think we should get a way to craft it... add it to this crafters menu.. 200 gold and 5 lumps of charcoal or something....

Grinding like mad to get a certain color of dye makes the game not fun.

Crafters are usually more expensive...

And Anet should nerf Mr Ankh's account for being a bloody cheater.

Me too! My picture is definitely real though, I went with that guy to cap skills and he dropped after we capped poison arrow. Must just be a bug.

Easy. When I was partied with him he was level 20. It is probably just some dumb bug, unless you know about something I don't....

Crafters are normally in line with prices basically. My only experience using them was to make parchment, which saved me maybe 10-20% over buying from players and ~50% from buying at the material trader at that time.

My point is... this crafter has no point in existing as it stands. Scrolls are a luxury item, and prices have been dropping quickly on them. Just a few weeks ago the trader bought my berserker scroll I found for more than what the selling price is now. There is no benefit from it being here at all.

There would be benefits from adding a crafter of black dye.. or just decreasing its rarity or capping dye trader prices at 1 plat. There could be less scammers in pre searing buying black dye for 100 gold. There would be many more happy players who don't have to endure massive grind in order to get a certain color of dye...

Pretty sure it's a glitch, sometimes how when the party windows loads members it cuts off the job/lvl I've noticed every now and then.

It's a glitch - when you disconnect from a party, it sometimes shows what level you WOULD be if lvl 20 wasn't the cap. Mr Ankh, for example, has earned 8 skill points since he became lvl 20.

It's *not* his name, since you can't type numbers in a name.
