Anet!!!!!!!! This needs to be fixed! *Please*
Playing Guild Wars tonight I have noticed the guild wars economy is going to inflate majorly next week. Because of the dye trader. With the update last week that made the trader only buy dye for about 10% of the price it is selling for. This is going to cause an uproar. I can see it in the works. Earlier tonight, the dye trader ran out of black dye. This is because nobody is selling to the dye trader. Perhaps you planned this as a gold sink, but nobody uses the dye trader anymore. Once the dye trader runs out of gold and silver dye, the economy is in trouble. Prices will inflate rapidly, people will be selling black dye for ridiculous amounts.
I a fair merchant asks you to fix this. I don't want to see the economy sink farther. I know you guys are working hard, but please improve the amount the dye trader buys dyes from people. My suggestion would be 80% of the value the dye trader is selling it for.
This thread is open to other suggestions about the economy and the dye trader

I personally think we need a heavy influx of black dye as well. There's a decent amount of silver. Heck, I think 80% of value for selling to the trader would be great.
I just also think it's outrageous that the most useful color in the game is also the rarest and therefore spikes in value really high. I've run three characters up to and beyond the point of ascension (been taking my time), and I've also got another account with one character 3/4 of the way to ascension and another 1/2 way to ascension. I've found black dye ONCE. (I've also dadled around a little with other characters that have been deleted.) I've got well over 350 hours on one of the accounts. Still, only one black dye EVER. I sold it to the dye trader (luckily before they recently nerfed the trader). I would of loved to experiment with it, but I needed the gold more......

while I don't agree with 80% I don't like the present prices the trader is buying at. it reminds me of how runes were over inflated before the rune trader. at the prices the trader is buying it makes the trader kind of non existant for some color dyes.

I got offered a mind blowing 1g for black dye either earlier today or yesterday for black dye, even though the dye trader can get away for selling it @ 9.3k at the same time......ummm....noooo.
