Mounts (horses, camels, wolves, tigers, bears)
Seeing people sprint around in full plate armor always made me laugh. I mean seriously, running on foot in full platemail? WTF? Did the horse die?
Where are the horses and other riding animals?
I mean if they made pets, why not mounts?
Reasons for getting mounts:
Faster traveling during quests
Increased level of tactics in battles i.e. dismounting to fight, forcefully dismounting
Having another thing to trade and customize your character with, plus make armor for
The sheer coolness factor of actually charging down your opponents or shooting your bow from a galloping horse like a Mongol
I imagine the mount will have its own health bar and will be separately targetable. Being dismounted would be much like having your pet die, your skills recharge, also you loose health and are dazed.

Agreed on the search thing.
Something to keep in mind: GuildWars is not an MMORPG. It is an action "shooter" with some RPG elements thrown in so it is not beyond the realm of possibility for players to run in full plate armor. Chacacters do that on every FPS game out there.

Not really, I could go away for age and come back to same universe where I left. Although you collect stuffs for your weapons/armor/skills/dye, etc. it is not critical to collect it faster than the next guy.

LOL you guys crack me up.
Mounts aren't going to happen, I can almost guarantee it....though who'd have thought that UT2004 would implement driveable vehicles?

An even better idea would to be able to ride a magical pull-out sofa. It's a special magic sofa. It opens up for magic, lazy boys. And angels come out feed you grapes and sing to you while you sleep, and it flies around the room, granting wishes to boys who are stupid.
