My Idea for a new profession
Brawler -
Fighters who have conditioned themselves specificaly to neglet steel and metal, and instead turn their massive, hulking bodies into a weapon.
Conditioning* - Conditioning increases your hero’s maximum Energy, and improves skills that help you regenerate Condition. Brawlers are unique in the ability to regenerate health even during combat. (Primary Attribute)
Grappling - Points allocated to Grappling increase the duration and effectiveness of skills that render foe's movements and action. (Most of these skills have a Health requirement)
Fists - Improving Fists increases basic Fist damage, and increases damage dealt by Fist skills. (Most of these skills have a Health requirement)
Legs - Improving Legs increase basic Kicking damage, and increase the effectiveness of Leg skills.
Weapons could include Glove, Brass Knuckles, and various boots?
A few skill ideas -
Meditation [Elite] - For the next 20-10 seconds, you cannot attack and all your skills are disabled. When Meditation ends, you recieve Health Regeneration of +3-9 and Energy Regeneration of +3-9 for 3-7 seconds. (Conditioning)
Immunity - If you are suffering from any condition, those conditions are removed. You cannot recieve that condition again for the next 25-45 seconds. (Conditioning)
Survivor - If your health is below 25% and you have not been attacked within the last 20-10 seconds, your health is recovered for 100-250 points. (Conditioning)
Throw [Elite] - If your health is above 75% and this attack hits, target foe is tossed back, takes 5-25 Damage, and is knocked down. (Grappling)
Arm Snap - If this attack hits while your health is above 50% and target foe uses a skill in the next 1-6 seconds, that skill is interruped and all skills are disabled for 3-6 seconds. (Grappling)
Leg Snap - If this attack hits while your health is above 25% and target foe has moved within the last 1-3 seconds, target foe moves 95% slower for 1-5 seconds. (Grappling)
Burning Fist [Elite] - 3 Fold Attack. Each punch hits for +5-25 Damage. If your health is above 50%, target foe is set on fire and suffers burning damage for 1-6 seconds and takes 10-20 Fire Damage. You suffer Health Exhaustion. (Fists)
Raging Fists - 5 Fold Attack. Each punch hits for 5-10 Damage. If your health is above 75%, target foe takes 10-30 Fire Damage. (Fists)
Sucker Punch - If are attacking from behind, target foe takes +20-30 damage and suffers from "Dazed" for 10-25 seconds. All your attacks are disabled for 20 seconds if this attack fails to hit. (Fists)
Burial Stomp [Elite]- If target foe is knocked down, he suffers from "Bleeding", "Weakness", and "Deep Wound" for 10-20 Seconds. After 30 seconds, the target is knockdown and recieves 30-60 damage and you recieve Health Exhaustion. This skill ends prematurely if any of the conditions are removed. (Legs)
Leg Sweep - If this hit, target foe is knockdown, but only takes 2-12 damage. (Legs)
Reversal Kick - If target foe is in a stance, that stance ends and target foe takes +10-20 damage.
Boost - Each time you use boost, your next attack is increased by 10%. If you do not attack within the next 35 seconds, all effects from the "Boost" skill are ended and "Boost" is desabled for 20 seconds.
(Example, you can boost many times to increase the damage and keep stacking it, but if you don't attack in 35 seconds, you recieve a penalty. This prevents someone from continuiously boosting before the fight to have an unfair advantage.)
I haven't thought up the energy and adrenaline cost for the skills, but I believe you have the general idea of what I want from the profession. Yes, I know there are probably a couple skills that I listed that would probably be considered "Overpowered" or "Underpowered". Please point them out to me so I can fix them. Keep in mind that some of these mabey balanced out by Energy/Adrenaline requirements.

Overpowered:
Burning Fists - Galrath Slash x 3 + 100 damage.
Meditation - Cast this before combat and you'll have free frontloading. (cast Aegis, Healing Seed, Ward Against X, and be back to full mana).
Sucker Punch - You can take out a caster for 25 seconds. If you miss, you'll still have your caster secondary (with pseudo-Energy Storage, you did pick a caster secondary, right?)
Conditioning ~= Energy Storage. Think of something more original.

Wanna make suggestions? Do it in the forum for MY BRAWLER CLASS. Or, alternatively, CREDIT ME. And don't tell me that its a different class: It's a damned tweak of my hardwork with the same damned class name and MINORLY tweaked attributes (Legs - Kickboxing).
Then again, what would the America be if nobody knocked the Irish?

LMAO, You think you were the one who thought of using your feet to fight? Your pretty funny. Did you invent martial arts or something, because I could have sworn that even other MMORPGs had attacks that use their feet (Ragnarok Online, FFXI) and you were not the first to suggest a brawler type fighter, so I suppose you were the one who stole the ideas? Nice.

Burning Fists damage does not = 3 Galrath Strikes and 100 additional damage. Yes, it's much more powerful, but I think it could be balanced by energy/adrenaline. But yes, it probably does need a tone down.
Hmmm... I don't think Meditation is very overpowered at all.
I figure that positioning yourself in this game is hard enough (j/k)
Well, yes, I probably should lower the dazed time down to 5-10 seconds. I think the punch should have a 60-120 second recharge.

No, of course I didn't invent martial arts. I, however, was the first person to post the idea for a Brawler on GWguru.com.
Had you merely posted this idea here, I would not be angry. I am angry because you posted on my thread, and then made your own thread in order to seem original.
And no, I didn't steal my idea from another mmorpg. Although, even if I had, according to your logic, all of the classes from Guild Wars would have been "Stolen" from another mmorpg in one way or another.
So shut up and sit down.

I would love to play a brawler character. I've messed with a similar thing on another MMORPG and it makes a fresh change from the casting and slashing.

well when i clicked on this link i said to myself "if this is another Ninja or Rouge i will smack my head on my keyboard so hard the FBI will have to investigate it"... but im suprized to see a less common suggestion...
looks ok, the health requirements really balance it out (well i think so) but could be annoying at times, i guess Anet could try something like this..
i think it would be cool if they changed Little Thom to this, the two warrior thing is a little old
