that is your opinion and you are intitled to your opinion sir and as an open forum you may voice your opinion freely mine however differs from yours.
im partial to ultima online pre samurai empire now if only they would get a better graphics platform then i would go back in a flash but the current graphics for that game are an eyesore and make me weep at the lack of graphic updating EA has done on that game. great gameplay + bad graphics = failure to keep all but the most hardcore players
**goes to the corner to cry**
**curses EA for ruining games**

I will move this to Off Topic & the Absurd: it's a better placement for it.

I've come from WoW and find it vastly inferior in terms of overall enjoyment. I loved it for the months that i played, but in the end the grind of levelling and taking upto 20 minutes just to reach somewhere you want to fight got to me. I haven't touched it since the first time I booted up the fnial release of Guild Wars - that says a great deal to me.
I recently revisited EQ2 and was mortified at how clunky and slow everything (regen times, interface - lack or radar, minimap, griefing, etc) was, I can't see myself returning to a traditional style mmo anytime soon - GW has totally turned me off to that style
But if you want to kill different coloured basilisks and hyenas / wolves for 20 levels go play WoW...
It's all personal preference of course, but i much prefer GWs more gritty and adult graphical style.

Yeah that's another huge plus. No monthly fee.
The only stuff I do miss from WoW is things like seeing a hill in the distance and thinking "i wonder whats up there" then trundling over to it and seeing the land still carrying on for as far as you can see, with maybe a village on the horizo, you trudleon to said village and so on. It's scope for exploration is really nice when compared to GW. Especially the more mazelike maps.

I'm gonna laugh when you come crawling back. When you get to level 50 it takes 3 days to get 1 level, and that's what bored me to the point of leaving that and buying this.

Enough with the WOW>GW or GW>WOW threads. Please.
Two differnt games that have both thier ups and downs.
Many of us will probably never play WoW. Others have and come back to GW.
Primairly this is an individuals choice. Going on this or other forums to tell them why X is better than Y and trying to argue while you are right and the others are wrong will only end in flames.
From a song sung by the Kingston Trio/also a Bob Dylan song:
"...When ev'rything I'm a-sayin'
You can say it just as good.
You're right from your side,
I'm right from mine..."

hmm, Really?
Then why start a thread on a subject that has been beaten like a dead horse?
Why couldn't it be ended in "that's just my opinion" and move on?

And shame on you, Aniewiel, this should have been closed because it's just another flame bait post.
