I agree, you should be able to unlock 15k armor.

Agreed. I would love to spend like 10k faction (something reasonable) to get 15k armor.
And off topic, i say we should be able to unlock black and silver dyes for PvP, through faction of course.

I doubt this will happen. I think the reason why they do this is to get people playing more pve. The ascended 15k armors would really be ascended armor anymore if you can just unlock it with faction. Maybe you can craft the armor with a pve character for pvp characters.

We will never get a storage in the hall because of this. It makes me sad. Maybe the guild storage could be for PvE players only? (Anet, listen up)

You should definitaly be able to unlock it, and by faction even. They wanna get rid of farming? Fine by me, but give us an alternative way to getting stuff besides gold then.
I'm a PvE character, but I can see the PvPer's point of views. 15k Armor is meant for fun. You shouldn't have to go through PvE if it's not fun to you, only to find that farming is constantly being diminished, making it impossible to get the armor you wanted.
Why shouldn't the PvPers be able to have the same fun as PvE'rs?
PS: Allow PvPers to unlock weapons equal to PvE'rs.

If you buy a 15k necro armor it should be unlocked for any PVP chars.
Same for my mesmer.. she bought normal old 1.5k Courtly set but I cant wear it on a pvp char. Not even another stype for normal armor.
Allow dye unlocks for pvp chars through faction and custom mixes. Even if it is 5k each dye (pref 1k).
Faction is good and all but I still don't want to play PvP chars because they look awful.

I think you should be able to unlock it through PvP most definately, but I think it should be very expensive, much more expensive than skills, kinda like in PvE. Getting skills doesn't take THAT much effort, but unlocking that 15k armor...especially now since the nerfs...much effort indeed. I'd think like 20,000 faction to unlock it.
But then they'd have to get rid of the faction limit.

The way I see it, the 15k armor is just a cool little thing that PvE players can get, and can set themselves apart from the normal PvP crowd in arenas, tournaments, and what have you. If you want the 15k armor on your PvP character that bad, then you can level a PvE character and get it, and show you're really serious about playing that class It should stay the way it is.

Why not just take your PvE charrs into the PvP arenas? Attribute refund things, and change skills. That should be it...No more refunds? Change secondary and change back.

15k sets have no pratical use, PvP already select the most powerful armor and they can even dye it for free.
I am total opposed to this, the 15k sets are a PvE reward and sould remain a 15k reward, if they are "unlocked" to PvP then when I get a 15 piece I want it unlocked for all my PvE characters to be "fair".

This thread speaks of using PvE armor? and dyes...?
This sounds to me like PvP people wanting access to things in PvE part of the game... what next... you want to be able to roam the cities? Run about the world?
No no no!
No 15K armor for you... no dyes... you want them? Play PvE. That's the way I see it.

I need to clarify on this---changing your secondary does NOT give you any attribute refund points back, none at all. As in when you do it, you still can't subtract any points from attributes if you're out before you change secondaries. YOU DO NOT GET ATTRIBUTE REFUND POINTS BACK FOR SWITCHING YOUR SECONDARY.
The only thing you get is any attribute points you had in your previous secondary attributes, but you get absolutely no refund points.

::clapps:: I agree. Then there wouldnt be a point to PvE anymore... (well, not really, but you get what I mean) at least to the fashionably sensible

These arent real pvpers, these are the kids who play arena once in a while. I can't belive there are this many people agreeing with the OP...its just stupid.
I agree with this post, (minus the negativity toward pvpers) There needs to be something to differentiate between pve and pvp characters. I think the 15k armors the popular dyes do this very well.
