A simple yet good idea.
I like to goto UW and FoW alot, of course you can only go when your country has favor. I hate having to log into the game every time I want to see if US has favor. My suggestion to the game devs is to create a system to export simple information out of the game like who has favor. This would greatly help people like me. Comments about this are welcome and i would like to hear other peoples ideas on this topic also.

Maybe they could just have a real-time scroll on their Web site announcing who has favor.

yes something like that would be great. i just would rather not like to spend the time going in game and traveling to temple of ages to see if we have favor. Something like this shouldnt be to hard to do, no?

I think any statue in the game will show whether we have the favor or not, not just the one's in Temple of Ages. But since that still means going to the nearest statue to see, I would like a command or something to let us know. Something like: /favor and it will show the current "favor" status.

I love all these little ideas that people post, and for the most part I even agree with them. But everytime I see one I want to post on the thread "Great idea... but what do you want more?" The devs at ANet don't have the time and resources to implement every tiny little change to the game, even the ones that we think would be best. And while I don't pretend to know anything about programming, even the smallest suggestion might take a large amount of time and resources to code and implement. So we have to ask ourselves... what do we want the devs doing? Would you rather have Sorrow's Furnace, or a /favor command and a cape toggle? Just some food for thought.

Well Anet suggests posting ideas in forums. Depending on the community response, they'll THINK about doing what the players would like added. Every intelligent gamer out here knows that just because we say we want it, doesn't mean we'll get it. It's all suggestions and ideas ... whether Anet puts it in or not, is completely up to them. Friendly, creative, suggestions doesn't hurt, does it?
And I'm really grateful that Anet actually listens to their players. Unlike some game developer's "fire-and-forget" attitude.

They could text message your phone and/or send you an email saying who has favor...

actually something as small as /favor would be really simple. i am almost positive that whoever has favor would be stored as a value somewhere on the server so a small code would be needed (im shur they have a base code for all / cmds). one would be adding the /favor (would take all of 5 mins if they did have a good system in place) and the function of the /favor to grab and display the value(or string) of who has favor.
