Advanced Dance Moves
Some characters dances are so bad, it's ugly. I can't stand my char's dance, but y should i have to? It would be awesome if you could open a dance toolbar, and either choose a style of dance from a list, or make up a dance from preselected dance moves as you go, or create your own dance and then use it whenever you used the /dance command. There could even be sychronized dancing, such as ballroom dancing, line/square dancing, and two player moves.
Am i crazy, or is this a good idea?

better yet, why not make your dances like a mini game? kinda like DDR, when you type /dance, you get some arrows on your screen (or something like that) and you have to type or click something to continue, and you'll keep going. if you fail, you fall down and make a fool of yourself. i think that would be fun.

Putting aside my love of DDR, I will just say that there should be more than 1 dance per character.

DDR - Great Idea!
DDR is a great idea. You could have gigantic dance battles to see who could hold out the longest.
Also, what about a disco ball, fireworks, bands, etc?
Maybe it's a little overboard, but the Guild Wars Party scene would be awesome!
I bet there are bands that would love to set up a virtual drummer, guitarists, vocalists, etc. and play their music within the guild wars districts.

Muti-dance styles, fire works, shiny disco balls? I'm down with dat! Hell, they should just add a GW club! Move over PvP, it's dance contest time! Also, I think someone suggested having unlockable dances...

I'm not totally sure either. But I can say on behalf of myself, i'm keeping it real. If I give it two thumbs, you know I it love then! Ok, maybe I did get a little carried away in my last post...

with ddr style dances comes copyright issues, it would be cool, but then Anet would have to take a lot of time to settle and agreement with Konami. Yes there should be a /dance2

dosent have to be ddr style
just make it instaed of arrows, use the keys the game comes with....W A D S and add Q E for the step left/right, then add trainers that you go up against and have to copy what they are doing to gain the dance. that way, you can choose what dance you learn ^^

Hey it would be adding some serious fun to the game. I like it, even though some people would abuse it for the typical humping animations...

I think it'd cause even more lag cus u have to dowload other peoples dances, etc etc. Instead of prechosen u could have a list to choose like breakdance, slodance<*rolleyes*,Tai bo ETc,etc

Not at all. Look at all the DDR sims out there. FlashFlashRevolution, Stepmania, DanceWithIntensity and so on. These all have the EXACT same 4-arrow format as DDR, and they arean't in any legal trouble. The only reason In The Groove got sued was because they used Konami's cabinets.
It could be the 4 arrows without a problem.
