My Suggestions for improving Guild Wars
1. all collectors and quest reward items should be tagged ( e.g. have "unsalvageable" in the description )
2. It would be nice if you could spend faction points ( lets say 5000 or 10000 ) to take a pvp character into the pve areas. Of course, all his items should be customized and non-salvageable, and you'd still have to do all the quests/missions or run to get to specific areas except maybe the temple of ages and ascalon city.
3. there should definitly be way to change the character without leaving the game. CTRL-F12 or Shift-F12 would be obvious choices for a shortcut. if both characters have the location on their map, then the switch could be instantaneous. ( only in towns, of course ) so you could stay in a team while switching chars.
4. player to player trading could be improved by allowing the stats of an item to be broadcast in the trade channel. e.g. a "trade" icon next to the trashcan and the bags. draggin an item into it should create a "wts furious war axe of warding, 15-22, x% ... ", and maybe a timer that you can do this each 10 seconds or so, and only once each for 30 or more seconds for the same item.
5. an AI update for alesia, forcing her to concentrate on healing while staying out of danger instead of attacking with her monk staff and so often pulling aggro.
6. a way to broadcast health/energy re- and degen. maybe ctrl-doubleclick on the health/energy bar to create a more verbose output, e.g. "My Energy is 30 out of 44 ( >> )" or "My Energy is 30 out of 44, regenerating at 2 Pips )"
7. Salvage and Identify Kits should stack, and the number of uses should be displayed like other stacking items such as charr hide or obsidian shards. you would instantly see how many uses you have left, and you could save space in the inventory.

1) Why?.. i see nothing wrong with they way they are
2) Never done pvp so i have no clue how it all works... so ill skip this one
3) I agree, i have a fairly long passwordand this can be a punishment to me.. however it have the keys all memorized in my head so i dont even have to think, its a reaction... so this isnt needed, but it would be nice
4) I think this would just help "sell spam"... but what do i know
5) They could always just change her name to [Tank henchmen]
6) Not really needed, but it would be nice to have more information like that (helpful for my monk's healing)
7) Stacking = good.. i like stacking

1. Hmmm, never had a problem with it but maybe you could add some tag.
2. No, that would be like cheating. Getting a lvl20 to do the game, best armor, good weapons, thats not how it was menth and thats not how I would like to see it.
3. Yes, please let them get an easy way .
4. hmm, you have sell spam already. It could be done but there working on a solution for the whole player to plauer selling thing. So I will be aptient and see what that is first .
5. Yes, we take her for healing and she sometimes forget that :P.
6. I dont think this is needed
7. Hmm, I could see that they dont want people to get a huge salvage kit so they could stay on farming forever (not that I am against farming). But on the other hand, if you do make them stackable then make something like max uses (just like normal stacks, they only go to 250, make it 100 uses or something).

to clarify:
1. the "salvageable" flag would be nice because sometimes, you want to maybe buy an axe for the upgrade and hope to salvage it.
this could also help prevent higher level players from selling overpriced collectors items to newbies...
4. spell spam exists today and will not go away as long as player to player trading is possible. if there was an easy but spam-protected way ( timed tradebin ) most people would stop writing long sentences in CAPS with many !!!!!. This is because the additional step for potential buyers. they have to find the seller in the town, walk to him and look at the item. if you see all the stats already in the tradechat, all the people with good items will use the tradebin since the stats sell the item, and no walking/teaming.. is required..
7. i don't think that stackable id/salvage kits would change anything for farmers. it's just a usability improvement.
