I still don't understand what the problems with mounts would be...
No mounts? Well I think that the folks over at NC Soft needs to follow in the Blizzard tradition (since they already have some of the best people FROM Blizzard working for them) and REALLY deliver on the expansion.
New races is an absolute MUST! Of course, you can't have too many of the traditional fantasy races. There are no Elves (too bad really, I love elves!).
Dwarf is an obvious one that comes to mind. Then there would have to be Char, Undead, Tengu (a stretch I guess) and maybe even Forgotten.
Though being a sap for cute and pretty things (I was very disappointed by this games distinct lack of cute and pretty things LOL), I would like a race that's "finer" than humans.
So basically you would start a new character and choose Race, Sex, Primary Profession, Secondary Profession. The race would affect armor choice, basic attributes (speed, power, max energy and health).

If they added new attributes, in my opinion, they'd need to add more attribute points, and therefore raise the maximum level. DO THAT PLEASE! I'm tired of getting through about half of the game and being max level and people whining about not doing the bonuses for missions because "XP doesn't matter anymore"...
A new profession would be nice, and it definitely would need to be a melee character. 3 Casters, why only 1 Tank? Perhaps some sort of melee damage-dealer, like an Assassin or Rogue.
Adding a "hobby" would take this really close to WoW... Let's try and be original here people.

i don't really agree w/ the increased level. The new attributes aren't supposed be added on but add another element to the game by letting you customize existing characters in different ways.
Also New character models would be nice maybe ones that looked like elves and dwarves (just make ur male war as short as u can

Realy, a hobby was not invented by WoW. And why throw away good ideas which are invented by others. Instead of throwing it away, pick them up and bring it to a new lvl. Adding to that I would love to see more 'non-combat' stuff, because it will make the world feel more of a world and the replay value will go up.

Sorry to bust your respective bubbles, but ANet specifically stated in a pre-release update that non-combat, a.k.a hobby, skills would not be implemented into GW.
Sorry there homies. =-/

None of those would 'work'. Two of them especially. How the hell would a Charr interact with humans? Or would they be 'banned' from entering certain cities? Aside from the fact that their intelligence (and basic morality) is still open to debate, they're mortal enemies. You couldn't just stick Charr into the game as a playable race without making some drastic changes to either the game mechanics or the storyline.
As for the undead, I don't recall ever hearing that suggestion, and for good reason.

This is a hard question to answer. This have pros and cons.
More class will improves the longaivity of the game and it will mostly benefit the PvE people.
More attributes within existing class will benefit PvPers because they can have more freedom and build options without needing to run though the PvE again.

I'll be very interested to see how classes are added w/o upsetting the existing balance. A difficult problem, especially since there is both the PvE and PvP aspect.
If races are added, I assume they will only be decorative, like the fancy armors...
