I think the catacombs could be made accesable through the underworld, since the catacombs are inaccessable from ascalon. From catacombs you could then reach the from ascalon inaccesable areas of old Foible's Fair & Green Hills County.

I adore you and the absolute brilliance of this suggestion, someone tossed out a similar one a while back but without any detail and it died off.

Everyone else likes it so live with it... And whats your problem with Diablo 2, it was a good game. And I would not care if this game would look like another game (it already looks like another game actualy, it reminds me a lot of Neverwinter Nights, especialy the music). They just need to make the game better then all the other games .

While I'm not a big fan of Diablo 2 myself either, I do see the necessity of having more difficulty and more of a rewarding feeling for finishing the last mission.

Actually, that was me, but that thread died rather quickly since everybody was wanting a different way to unlock PvP-only stuff back then (though, I suppose the same's happening now, but hey).

I really think this thread should have more replies, seeing as how this is one of the better and more thought out suggestions we've seen for the game from a user.
Good job gir, its a very solid idea and i think it would bring something new to the game.
But i think the PVE in this game is so tedioes, thats its almost impossible to make it fun again.

/signed if they leave out two-tailed scorpions
and if they space out the level 40's. It's difficult enough to beat Glint sometimes and she's only level 31. The Lich too. Don't completely kill everything by having a warband of level 40 Tengu in one place
We need NEW monsters, ones that look like they're level 40.
Frankly I'd be happy if you just hurried up with the expansion, and maybe added the catacombs in here in an explorable area (with maybe a mission or two available AFTER beating the game, rediculously hard ones, but just to keep people interested). The catacombs strike me as a place that all the evil creatures went to when the Charr came around. I don't want to see anything below level 30 there!

I'd like to see Worms that behaved like the worms in Dune instead of just looking like them (granted, every sci-fi/fantasy desert since Dune was written has stolen this creature, GW isn't the first and far from the last)

Thanks for the support you guys...
I figured I'd add this to the list, seeing as how Blacklace made a lot of sense in how PvE hasn't trained any of us for PvP. - Different and Dynamicly Diverse Mobs - The "lesser" species of Tyria have been weeded out (most of the Skales, Devourers, Scarabs, etc.) for more diverse teams. In these teams consist of a combination of warrior-types, ranger-types, elementalist-types, monk-types, mesmer-types, and necromancer-types. The builds of these mobs can mimick recent teams that have won the Hall of Heroes to provide extra challenge.

This is a fantastic idea. Could somone in contact with gaile make sure she sees this! I think this would be of great interest to A.net and I know some of the people I talk to at GW would like it too.
InvaderGIR, would you mind if I posted this on my guilds forums so as to get feedback from people who do not go to these forums. You will of course be given full credit, I just would really like to spread the word. This is one of the first ideas I have been truly excited and hopeful about.

Sure. Go ahead. And don't worry about the credit. So long as the game can be enjoyed to a higher extent, I don't care if I can get recognized or not.

Not needed...
After reading State of the Game on GW's site, having Legendary Districts is not necessary because they're coming out with "Ascended Content".

this idea is great and would add so much possibilities...
to have a real explorer feeling there could be some sort of half-transparent fog on the map once you enter the district in order to let you know where you have been yet.

well i agree after beating the game it is hard to find things to keep myself entertained so i think this would be a nice idea, GW already great as is, but this would make it like.. great X infinity + 1 or something
great idea
