European favour swing ?????
Has anyone noticed a swing in ownwership for Europe now.
Everytime I come on we have ownership???? Are we getting some devine intervention from the Dev's.
Also who will give odds on the summer update being released Tonight/Today
I would take a gamble that its tonight GMT

i think europe just got really annoyed at having favor like once a week, so their guilds (most notably esoteric warriors) got pissed and started doing hoh alot. same with many of the members.
i highly doubt a dev would intervene like that.
and my guess is the odds of it being released tonight are 0.

Here's what I don't get : With the different time zones, it would be logical if during the evening in each region that region ended up with favor because that's when the most people are likely to be playing. Why isn't that the case? (and if it is the case, then why is anyone complaining?)

America and Korea used to have it 50% of the time each, but America cant get used to the change so we whine.

Not one person in the whole thread whined...
I am glad Europe has favor more often, it will stop all those stupid threads about how Europe needs some sort of advantage to win halls. All it really took was 8 good players with imaginative builds (they use more but eights all they needed). Go Europe, and special thanks to Esoteric Warriors for shutting up all the pansies in your realm.

all u need is leader of the party to be in Europe server as his home district, does not really matter if all members belong to America or Korea. Just play in International district and see.

I guess it's because noone good plays Tomb anymore. They are all playing GvG, or have just given up on GW.

Wait... Are you telling me the Europeans took time out of their busy schedule of spamming these forums with "WTF EUROPE CAN'T GET FAVOR UNFAIR" and spamming the ToA with "WTF AMERICA HAS FAVORS DON'T THEY SLEEP?!" to actually play the game?
I wonder if Satan is getting chilly down in hell.

Well, think about it.
In America, everyone speak ... err... Well what you guys call "american", wich seesm to originate from european english, but I can't be sure
In Korea, everyon speaks ... Well, whatever they speak in Korea.
In Europe, we speak english, french, spanish, german, swedish, italian, polish, russian, etc...
Now, gather 8 random people in america and go to the hall of heroes. I doubt you'll have any trouble to understand each others.
Gather 8 random people in europe. The odds half the team doesn't understand what other people say are quiet high. Of course, now that there are language-based districts it's easier.
Yet, it took us quiet a moment to organise ourselves in such conditions.
If you consider that, for instance, 5% of the players speaking your language are really good and able to fight in the HoH, america has 5% of all the people playing in america. Let's take fake figures and pretend 10 000 people are playing. You'd have 50 worthy people to group with.
Let's take the same figures in europe. For easy thinking, we'll say each language zone has an equivalent amount of players. That's 2500 people in each, wich means 12 - 13 people worth grouping with.
Don't you think it might take a little longer to form a decent HoH group, with people actually able to understand what you say?
As usual, Europe took a late start, because as usual we have so much problems to organise ourselves with all the labguages and stuff.
If we didn't have the favor ore often in the past, that was because we were not organised yet. Being operational takes always a while for us, but if has nothing to deal with any unfait-ness some jealous, immature kids might have come here to rant about. It's most likely because no one bothers learning 10 extra languages to play a game.
Now, good groups have been created, the mighty people found each others and started to fight side to side. Good, we can now start to compete properly.

Pedantic of me perhaps, but:
5% of 10,000 = 500
5% of 2500 = 125

From what I've seen recently, it has been mostly been Esoteric Warriors and Ancient Phoneix getting favor for Europe. I remember when Asylum and Rus Corp used to win it for Europe. Maybe it's a sign European clans are getting stronger?

uriel99 is exactly right. in europe, there are massive problems with communication, so random teams usually have terrible coordination.
however this is often solved by a european guild which is generally all one language.
another reason is alot of pepole in england, and even other countries where they happen to know english, people just go in the american server because 1) they have favor more often, and 2) everyone is generally in the same language.
and all you need to beat the hoh is 8 players. europe definetly has more than 8 players.
the funniest thing is that people who are all arrogant in american servers and flame the europeans for sucking usually are the people that could never win UW in hoh

You have forgotten to tell, that this needs 8 good players and on the American or Korean servers to find them much easier. More players plays GW, more players speak one language, etc. Half members of Rus Corp knows only russian, therefore our leader and target caller should communicate mainly on it. We can choose 8 good players only from 150 person, american guild can choose from 500.000
