More Pretty Boys!
I posted this somewhere, and it might have been here, but I can't find it so I'm posting the point again.
My friend has been playing Guild Wars just a little, but she was a little put off by how there weren't any "pretty boys". She said the Rangers were pretty boys, and the Elementalists came kinda close with some of the faces, but that none of the other guys were really pretty. She always plays guys, and a pretty boy when she can, so this means something to her. I don't think new "pretty boy" faces (one for each class) would be that hard to add. Please consider this in future chapters and updates.

Yea, I hate seeing the same standard (I didn't choose anything besides the default) face on guy monks and warriors. Both me and my girlfriend play at any given time, so I have heard this too..
suggestions:
1. 3-5x available faces by the next expansion - Anet you have several animation specialists.. this should be just a week's work tops.
2. Create character defaults to a random face not a set starter - Should not be too hard just slip that in sometime

I'm more interested in having more Pretty Girl faces. Have you seen some of the female faces? Ugly stick victims for sure.
Also I'd like to take this moment to speak of an injustice. Leather Armor for female rangers does not have the jiggle effect upon firing a bow. Please fix this in a future update, A.net.

Interesting idea.. add more "pretty boy"-like characters..
While there can be more pretty boys, I'm satisfied with my pink male warrior .

Have you ever seen a female Elementalist dance?
The only thing that is lacking is the jiggle.
I must agree with all these comments, to please everyone.
Maybe have a face twister... to mesh a character's face! Widen the eyes... elongate the nose... give them a bum-chin...
Edit: I would also like to add that I hate the way some of the characters (cough, warrior males) are built. They're ALL stocky and bow-legged. Please fix this. I made a female warrior when I decided to do that class, simply because I didn't want a fat avatar!

Some of the girls are not pretty; oh well, so sad, don't use them.
ALL of the boys are ugly, minus the Rangers. The issue is that there aren't enough pretty boys in the game to balance out the pretty girls.
Besides, cleavage doesn't really excite me all that much .

More cleavage... hmmmm. I LOVE TO SEE THAT!!!! (with jiggle too) .And nice booty too like the ones in Lineage.
Sigh, but this game is created for 13 and up and i dont think they will do this. But I hope they will

Lol.
One time, I was talking to a "real life female" on Guild Wars and they were complaining that there was too much cleavage.
Oh wait, nvm, that was my sister. She doesn't play video games. She can't possibly understand..

They have added new faces, I believe around two for each class/sex. They also added a few new hairstyles. What they need is a way to change look, like hairstyle/color. Or maybe, if you are a loser and play GW 14 hours a day, you should get a tan. Likewise, if you are a loser and play GW in UW 14 hours a day, you should become pale/ or character falls down dead and gets auto deleted.
What they need is necklaces, robes, etc. to go over armor, so you can make your character actually unique. To go along with this, you should be able to open up ally paperdoll to see the stats of their armor or weapons equipped, as long as they have it enabled.

Hey! My Mesmer is damned schmexy. I could do without the riverdance though but yeah...the Warriors are pretty ugly...almost oogly and way to bulky. How come none of them have facial hair? Out of all the classes I'd expect Warriors to atleast one "grizly adams" face...or ya know something like Rurik's but yeah.

admited, theres very few prety boys in the game....
and forget about nonk faces...what about the damn hair!
why should ALL the monk girls shave? 0.o
that was the main reason i made my main char a necro monk....i HATE the baldie parts.
sure, theres nothing wrong with a bald woman, specially if she is wearing loose, flowing black clothes, has Sister or Reverend Mother in her name
but...EVERY monk, has bald bits O.0
we need to be able to, later in game, get hair sytle and color changed, for a fee, of course, paid in gold, to the HairDressers Union ^^
unlock all hair types and styles for all classes, and all faces too. all hair shades from char creation would help, then i could have had my blue haired, pale skined Monk girl.
and yeah, wheres the beards?
just so you know, if you ask 100 rangers (male) why they picked ranger...
i would say 50-60% say, 'cause i like elves and they look like em'
about 30% would be ether, 'i like rangers as a class/i like bows and pets'
and the last 10% would be 'cause he dances wicked and looks great'
heheh.
but where is the bearded half-elf build?
they have the feathers, they have the bows and the leather gear...wheres the Tanis look-alikes ?

Bah! Down with pretty, up with ugly!
Why is their only one scar-faced Warrior face? Why must we all be knights in shining armor, when I want to be a scuzzy, scummy, grizzled, eyepatch-wearing merceanry? Why must all the Elementists look like the end product of a two-hour-long Queer Eye for the Straight Guy special? Where are the grizzled, crag-faced Gandalf-look-alikes with massive Santa beards? Why is there no blind prophet Monk? Why do all male Mesmers look like mincing gay men from the 1700's, except for the ones in Rogue's armor, who look like mincing gay men from modern times? Where's the wizened old master of the arcane, bending reality with a mere flick of the wrist?
What's with all the male and female models running around? Let my make me mean, gritty, stab-you-in-the-back villainous ruffian, dang it!!!

ok, five monkeys(disgruntled or not)
if you get your grizzly looking guys, who look like mr Butt ugly and mrs Punh-in-a-face had a kid
we get some *real* pretyboys.
let me tell you, the mesmers arent HALF as good as they could be.
for one, their hair isnt long enough.
and if you get your mr scarface, i want my half-scar guy ^^ i want Asher. the whole thing, my face looks like i went and played in acid, but my other half is so beautifull to look at, mere mortals fall on the floor and weep when i smile with it
ahem....sorry, but to be honest, the prety boys you speak of are just nice. clean looking,. but you wouldnt want to hire them for their faces to make you cash with.
i want the sort of guys that have hair to their backsides.
if you lot get cleaveage central with the girls, i want my poster boys for the undead and the terminaly furry

lol - I know one girl who upon seeing the male and female rangers she said the only difference between them were breasts.
But you know what I really want? Not more pretty boys or pretty girls, but for GW character creation to let you create your own characters face and body. Have any of you guys played the Sims 2? The game basically gives you complete control over every aspect of your characters face - you can make almost any face ever! Imagine having that, plus the ability to mold your own body, and put it in GW. That'd be pretty slick. You'd have as many pretty boys, cleavage heavy women, or battle scarred warriors as you'd want!
But *sigh* tis just a fantasy. No game developers would ever really make a system like that...

Kanidate, i play sims2 all the time, and know what?
other than downloaded guys like the Doctor (chris ecleston version) all my males are...pretty boys ^^
just stick a dress on em, spal on some makeup and there ya go, chief!
problem with that is...time consumeing. you know as well as i do how long it takes to get the perfect face for a sim, so you can imagine how long people would be messing about in creation page to do it.
agreed, though. we need to be able to do more than just change the size of a char.
look at all the tiny girl rangers (who i sometimes get carried away and think Kender with ^^ only we dont have the hoopacks to give em...hows about those next? anet? hehe)
i used to be able to pick from slim, normal and fat build in neverwinter, i would like to have that back here, along with the tall or short thing, so you can make skinny waif kids with short and thin, and dwarf wanna be with short and fat....oh, and fat ass monk chick with tall and fat
since necros can add scars, hows about a scar as an add on for chars, and beards to...though, no bearded ladies, other than at stoneings ^^ (all hail the python, and where is my shrubery and killer rabit ^^)
giving us the ability to change hair shade, style would wring some more gold out of us, and alow for even more doverse chars...i mean, im sure i saw a bald headed necro lass a couple of days ago 0.o did she swap her hair with a monk?
