Hell yeah to the elite skill. If I only had to waste one spot for my pet, all my RPG toons would have Ranger in them, cause pets kick ass.

Ok either add an elite skill that combines comfort animal and charm animal or allow pets to be revived by Resurrect. To have to carry comfort animal to resurrect your pet along with charm animal is too much to ask when you only have eight spaces for skills. To me this is something that wasn't well thought out and drastically limits the use of pets.

And please why won't you tell use if any of the beast have different armor/attack/speed levels and what they are? I'd like to know how far away my pet is from the next level!
We need a GuildWars Vet! Still think the moss spider would have been one butt-kicking pet...

No not an elite, the current elite is far too good. You must always have it. So just combine charm and comfort into one normal skill and I will be happy.

Well, it'd be especially great if there weren't so much warrior hate in the form of Aegis and Wards, but in other circumstances, it's one of the best forms of energy management.
10-11 energy with maxxed beast mastery (haven't had that in a while, not sure.), and 2-3 cost, depending on Expertise, for a total gain of 7-9 energy every 8 seconds. Or, 6-8 energy every 4 seconds with Quickening Zephyr up. Toss on the additional damage, and it just gets better.
But, as with Fire, I hate seeing only one elite in a line. Especially when it's not very good (Mind Burn, *cough*). Another beast mastery elite would be welcome to me.
As for their damage and attack speeds, I believe those are in the Prima Guide and have been tested by someone as well. Don't remember the numbers off the top of my head, but I do know that the data indicates that all of the pets have about the same stats, except the differences in damage type [Blunt, slashing, piercing], and the player-researched data puts the Spider ahead of the other pets in damage.

I definitely would like to see a beast mastery elite or two.
I like the idea of an elite charm/heal animal skill, and maybe an elite pet attack that knocks down and causes poision.

but ferocious strike is an awesome elite already. they need to combine charm and comfort animal into one normal skill, and the ammount of time your skills are disabled should go down with more points in beast mastery. like if you have 16 beast mastery it should only be like 1 or 2 seconds.
