From roughly estimating the numbers of signers to this "petition" compared to the number of anti-signers, it would even seem that the defenders of prudery are a minority in their own thread..

but besides that GO AMERICA (RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO bush tho)

As many others have said....
If you don't like the armor don't buy it. No-Body is forcing you to buy it. There are plenty of other armors you can buy. And some people actually quite like the Druids 15k Female Armor.

I say we de-breast all female characters. The cleavage just allows people to think that way and they should have full-body undergarmets so people will be wearing pijamas instead of underwear. This is completely atrocious and disgustingly humiliating.

lol! thank you! I personally think the armor looks stupid, but in no way does it offend me cuz it reveals more skin. It's nothing shocking at all, and what morals does it go against? People are way too uptight and conservative when it comes to attire and they really need to lighten up and just accept it. IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DONT BUY IT! (said a million times already in this thread)

dont get it if you dont want, go with the regular druids armor that covers absolutly everything, including the neck.
plus i think 15k druids looks hot.

Pffft, people have the right to wear skimpy clothing on their chars if the damn well please. Go to a beach sometime and try telling the girls there that their bikinis make them look like hookers or something.

Haha, yeah i guess that figures.
I had a little arguement with a female friend of mine. She was angry all the way that some women where wearing very tight clothes or even seethrough stuff and short skirts. The arguement began when i said that many males aren't wearing ANYTHING on their chest when it is summer and why that is NOT a problem.
Couldn't give me a single argument why, but gave me hell for daring to oppose her opinion. I guess thats just ... female Oo
Geez, that is ONE armor out of how many? Enough in any case. Don't like it? Don't use it. It is as simple as that. Use the normal 1.5 k druids. You don't need the 15 k version. And stop acting all schizo about few to little clothing. You get offended by that? Oh seriously, never open your window and look out. You might get a heart attack. Seeing how some women in RL are dressing the models in Guildwars are actually OVERdressed.

Actually, GW's female avatars have the smallest cup size out of all the MMOs; again, they just have good posture and a very nice waist.

Well, I don't know. My choice would be that there should simply be more types of armor, but it is a bit silly that the female armors become skimpier the more they cost, while it's the opposite for the males.

to me this says"im trying to get anet to agree with me so dont post anything that might go against me,because if people give reasons of why it should stay the same they might not change it"
and i saw no reasons why you dont like it in the first post.
one thing i can think of is make 2 different sets of druids armor so people could chose what they want.but then other classes would complain that they dont have more choices. meh

rofl, realism. You mean how both male and female body physique are completely unrealistic? As far as I'm concerned, NO woman "living in the jungle" would ever come close to that, EVER. Heck, they would even have underarm hair and leg hair and all that. Don't try to rationalize the fact that the armor was designed with the sole purpose of elliciting a sexual response from male preteens.
Also, the fact that you have a choice whether or not to wear the armor is one of the silliest arguments I've seen in a while. And it saddens me that so many people have jumped on this band-waggon train of thought. ANet may have an incredible pool of talent, but I think they are making a large mistake taking (and having taken) the game in this direction. Believe it or not, it's possible to make a quality game without falling back on lude, "contentless content."

The druids armour is unrealistic "to the max". The glads armour is in a way far more realistic and allowable, look at roman armour in their Gladiator Arenas, not much difference, though the Gladiators are far less perfectly modeled .
The tatooes are also a different story, they are rune markings, they are energy symbols they are in a unreal way realistic. You draw power from the runes, which happen to cover your body and perhaps need to be in the open to emit their "aura". The druids 15k has no such need/effect, it infact seems to offer NO protection or bonus.
If you compare armours based on nudity take into mind the efefcts of the armours and how realistic they are in the unreal world of GW. The only other armour that may bring question would be the Female glads, as there were no female glads. But since that is true the female glad can be much the same as the male glad.
The simple fact is that some female armours were made to attract or fascinate the preteens, those who defend it are mostlikely preteens themselves or people simply fascinated at looking at a semi-nude toon. Some armour on the other hand were very realistically made, such as knights or platemail. If you ask me the Druids armour 15k set all look wierd, the male looks like some guy with grenades in his overcoat and ready to go into fullscaled war, and the female looks like she came out of the bath in her underwear.

This is a fantasy game, go look at fantasy art. It's not about practicality but about art, warriors with swords bigger than they could possibly wield and the like etc etc, fantasy unlike sci fi doesnt have to explain or rationalise anything its fantasy, its magic, there is no explanation.
Complaining that female 15k druid is too nudey is dumb, look at monk and necro female tattoo's they are basically wearing loin cloths, the 15k druid female armor covers more than the tattoos. Saying its to appeal to preteen boys is sorta a strange arguement, what about the male warrior armor like glads, he reveals his chest and wears a skirt....so preteen boys also want to see this?? 0_o
Get over it, get on with life. If I had a dime for every time someone screamed out bloody murder and moral decay I would be on rich biznitch.
