Improvements to the skill window
These are the improvements i would like to see to the skill window:
1. Skill Range
We see it when we unlock a skill, we can see it on the official site, why can't we see it in game in the skill window. Why should we have to go to a browser to see what the high-end numbers are?
2. List all the skills
WHen the official site has a listing of a ll the skills, I find it absurd that we cannot see what unlocked skills do when creating PvP Characters. Also I hate having to switch to a browser and play the matching game to see what skills I still need to get for a character. Back when i had only one I would use the PvP Create to see how many skills I needed to get and their names but with multiple chars that share professions it becomes a real pain.
List all the skills all the time but make the ones that haven't been unlocked for PvP or acquired for a certain character grayed-out.
3. Make it so we can hide certain skill lines/types
If you ever played a warrior elementalist and have selected sort by type you have ben confronted with a HUGE number of skill types. It would be nice to have the Sword Attacks brach "collapse" to just a name so we can concentrate on only the skills we need instead of filtering through ~150 skills split up into ~10 categories.
4. Make the MAX value in skill range display at a constant 16 attribute points
The current max value of a skill is displayed at 12 points in it's inherent attribute, while on the site it's displayed at 15 points in it's inherent attribute. Make the values the same all over, it just leads to unnecessary confusion for us who read the site and keep tabs on balance updates.
Also, the reasoning behind the 15 point max values displayed on the site is the max 12 points in any attribute + 3 from a superior rune, but all heads give 1 point bonus to attributes that stacks with the superior rune, so just display it at 16.
I'm not even going to mention the % chance for a + 1 bonus from focus items and the ele skills that give them a + to attributes for the next spell used.
