I would like to add....
Good Ideas.
I would add a Police Force of some kind to the game.
Clean out these rude,scamming,vulger,slimy,etc...etc...type people.
"Walking Softly and Carrying a Big Stick" would go along ways in this game.

What would make Guild Wars an even better game.
Stop all the whining about everything. We all have our opinions on what we do and don't like. Anet do there best trying to please everyone, but still no one is happy.
People need to learn how to use the Search functions in Forum Sites, as there has been so many of these posts now, I'm starting to think people have no idea how to use the functions given to them.
If you're not happy, move to another game. If you want more excitement while waiting for updates to come, go and play another game and then come back to guild wars. It's almost like playing another game again.
Getting fed up reading the same posts over and over again. If we pulled all the resources on this website together, we would probably have 10 posts total.

D&D
mounts
rangers can ride their bears/spiders etc.
you can rent horses from town to towns. cost 10gp.
then you can say "Look Mommy! i'm riding the Horsey!!"
"this is the bestest birthday present Ever!"
Armor
let us wear NPC armor. make a dye where u can glow like bosses. That golden or green glow is hot!
Dual wield
makes primary & 2ndary weaker!
Weapons
magic longsword +1 where just the tip glows!
Uniques/rares: drop rate 1/1000...1/500
Drops
you fight a bandit wielding a sword. if the sword dosnt drop, "bandit's sword falls to the ground & breaks apart....you begin to cry"
scorpions shouldnt drop weapons! poison stinger that only a Ranger can harvest for apply poison...
immunity
in ring of fire/fire imps etc should take minimal or no damage from fire!
wilderness
if i'm traveling from ascalon to regent valley or ranik (basically anywhere outside of towns), i want to see other players on the road. maybe up to 12.
it adds to excitement. you can ask travelers whats up the road ahead.
TK
we should be able to kill teammates pets/minions.
we should be able to hit teammates up to 25% damage.

2. More Armors: What really gets me is that whenever you get to a new city you should be able to buy new armor. I know that you can buy upgraded armor of what you already have, but there are only like 5 different armors per profession. Im talking about new armor, not the same armor you already have, just better.
3. Unique things: You should be able to find/win items that you cannot find anywhere else in the game. For instance, a unique armor set that only you have, or a unique sword that doesn't look identical to every other one in the game.
4. Dual Weilding: self explainitory
5. Economy: the economy of guild wars is REALLY inflated. A single vial of dye costs more than a set of armor! I think that dye sould be cheaper or more common so that prices go down.
6. Dropped Items: Monsters will drop their armor when you kill them on occasion. I think that you should be able to wear these armors. Now that would be cool.
7. Capes: in my opinion you should be able to toggle your guild cape on and off.
8. Guilds: There need to be more guild activities, and custimizing your guild hall is a must. its Guild Wars for crying out loud!
Some of these things may already be being implemitted, so tell me if im wrong. If you want to expand on my ideas feel free to do so as well.

For Dual wielding the penalty could be that it would have to be light weight weapons which means that although you would attack more quickly the max dmg of dual weapons would be maybe a third less and you dnt get a shield.
As for the mounts idea, how about a 'scroll' that sped the game up by x amount that only the group leader cud use and only whn the group went in a certain formation. When it was activated only the group leader could control the movement of the group and the moment any memebr of the group was attacked or even attempted to be attacked it would stop. I myself am for mounts & when I stepped out of preS ascalon and saw the strider also thought chocobo.
As for the armour thing how about you can take the armour to an armour crafter and he can customise it for you so it fits. I also think every professions armour should be open to every profession or at least your 2ndary professions, as it would allow far more tactics and customisation but there are penalties incurred for instance a mesmer wearing heavy armour would suffer a movement penalty, but this could be reduced after they have gained 10,000xp wearing it as they have grown used to it or something like that.
I also think they should have random mission generators that although you to earn money and experience as apart from farming, doing runs to draknors or getting extremely lucky with a drop I cant see how you are suppose to make a decent amount of money in this game. The way you could do it eould be that the group forms up and then the leader would approach the NPC and choose the difficulty lvl say 1-5 (harder mission bigger reward) and three choices could come up and the party could vote for which one to do then they all get the quest updated. I respect the fact that thinking up 1000 missions would be difficult but they could post a competition for people to think them up

1. Mounts: I doubt this is a good idea. I mean, we already need a solution for all those people getting runnrs to go everywhere and anywhere they need... making them go faster is not a great plan.
2. More Armors: Whatever.
3. Unique things: That would degrade the game, since everyone would just want to have these "godly" unique items and that would turn this great game into Diablo...
4. Dual Weilding: Not a good idea...
5. Economy: No, I don't think they should add armor to the list of fluxtuating prices. I mean, EVERYONE buys armor, so when you get to Droknar's, would you pay about 100,000 for one peice? And that's about 2 weeks after they change this... No, it's good how it is.
6. Dropped Items: Armor is customized (just like your armor) to fit the person. How would you fit into the custom-made and fitted peices of armor? It just doesn't make sense.
7. Capes: Sure, why not.
8. Guilds: More guild activities, yes. Customizing your guild hall, to some extent. Certain things in a hall need to be unchanged, it is a place of war.

You all dismiss the mount idea way too quickly.
A mount is not just so you can get from one place to another quickly... it also adds a wwhole new diminsion to combat (obviously there would be advantages and disadvantages to being mounted, perhaps some skills that are only usable mounted/dismounted).
As for the "makes it easier for runners" arguement... um... Does the word "forceful dismounting" mean anything to you all? You ride, you fall off the horse, you're dazed, eweakened, you get killed.
And the "clutter" arguement is even more bogus... clutter? WTF are you talking about? A battlefield is not your hotel room.
Anyone who has ever played Dynasty Warriors knows how much fun introducing a mount dimension can be for an action game (and this is an action game). There are places and times when you would rather be slugging it out on the ground and time when build a little higher up and a little faster has its perks. It's called "tactics", I think some of you are familiar with this word.

Oh good.
We need more pointless replies.
1) Good idea, and as has been stated can add a great new dimension to the game, but would be very hard to implement. Possibly for an expansion, but unlikely.
2) These will be in the expansions. I wouldn't want the devs to waste time on making and implementing new armours in free updates. They should be working on stuff like the auction house, crafters for the rarer items, fixing the economy, ect, ect in the free updates.
3)No. Online game with many people == unique items not possible. They will never, nor should they ever, implement an item that only ONE person can have ONE of. We already have uber rare items (crystalline swords, anyone?) so these aren't needed.
4) No. Unbalancing, unless the second weapon is nerfed to the point at which there is no real reason to use it. Like an extra 5-10 damage a hit, with a cost of 16 possible armour and -3 possible damage taken with a perfect shield.
5) This needs fixing. There are many suggestions for fixing it.They are working on this, probably.
6) I agree. Otherwise, why give them variable armour levels?
7) Yes. To all you who complain that you like your guild cape, there is a simple solution: Don't turn it off! This is an option to turn it off, not a removal of all the capes. Obviously not in arenas, but elsewhere, sure.
8) I thought they said they were working on making the guild hall customizeable. This is a must. The guild hall should be everyone's base of operations, not an obscure island you go to when you want a fight.

1. Mounts: Why not? If you buy them once and then you keep them till you want to buy another one.
For example, a dragon/griffon, who never fought he would like to ride one, or "fly" with one (the other players MUST be able to see you when you cross towns for example FLYING over it)
2. More Armors: New armors is a must BUT the prices must not be exaggerated, for e.g. FOW armor.
3. Unique things: Yes this should be a must in this game, but the stats of these rare items should not be exaggerated, for example a "400 armor cuirass".
To be unique I would suggest a customization of armor/weapons/shield, VISUAL customization, stats one may be ok but player always want to be the best and they will exaggerate (remember Diablo 2)
4. Dual Wielding: why not, two handed fiery dragon sword, axes.....cool
5. Economy: The answer to this is farming and since most places are narfed, the economy is screwed up. Answer: Don't narf the farming zones.
6. Dropped Items: You must of played too much Diablo, if u customize, this in not needed
7. Capes: As said in the other forums on the capes, YES to toggle button.
8. Guilds: Yes! Customization of the guild hall is a must.
e.g.: Creating - training grounds - assembly area - throne room -
9. Towns and Portals: Although the fact that if you cross a portal when you are followed by masses of evil creatures is a good thing, it is not realistic, there should be NPC guards near the city gates or even PCs.
In the same idea: how about making sieges of a city, when all players in the city must defend it, if they fail the city is gone and must be retaken...
This would solve the runners problem no one wants to see lvl 2-s in Droknar!
10. Choosing whether you want to go on private map or on a multiplayer map:
This concept can help new players to the game or even experienced one, for example: you are with a party and are in a desperate fight with some creatures but surprise, a lvl 20 paladin sees u and runs to the rescue, after the fight he proposes that you travel together the the next city, where he must get to. It sounds nice doesn't it?
Of course this Single/Multi must have a toggle system, since farmers like to be alone, don't they?
Chosen in controls or when the PC leaves the outpost.
11. Player created outposts??:
Imagine creating a place with merchants / skill traders all by yourself or your entire guild, making a museum that shows all of your battles on walls (fresques), creating some teleport zones from where you can go to some other places..
This concept has a problem though: Where can we put our outpost??? No place on the map??
12. Player created skills for rpg or pvp:
Skill trainers propose to create skills that are completely invented by players, the price of the skill depends on its power, for example a signet that makes u invincible for 30 seconds and recharges in 2 seconds, has an activate time of 1/4 seconds should cost 9000 ectoplasms with 50000000 platinium, isn't that fair?
Other examples: Making the skill an elite decreases immensely the cost, giving a long recharge time does the same, however, a cost of 1 energy shoots the price through the sky, a 1/4 activation time does the same....
This would be hard to create I imagine, and players in pvp should chose a no created skill arena/ created skill arena.
13. For Players that already have a lvl 20 rpg character:
When creating a new character you chose between rpg or pvp, well why not make another type, where the character is like a rpg one, is the level the player wants, starts in post-searing, has equipment like in pvp, he can chose his first 7 skills then go capping for more, can do quests etc.... this would stop the boring process of making another lvl 20 character when you already have one....
14. Warrior rune of Energy:
Minor energy = 2 energy priece= 5 k
Major energy = 5 energy priece= 65 k
Supperior energy = 10 energy priece= 455 k ( a war with 30 energy is almost a god)
Underlined = added ideas
Italic = What I think is a must in this game to make it "cooler" and "realistic"
