Default A skill a month

I myself was disappointed not to see any new skills implemented in the Sorrows Furnace update.
I wasn't expecting any, but it would have been an extra treat and would have made alot of people even more happier.

Since i purchased Guild Wars on the 6th of May, i've seen a few treats thrown our way and not all updates have been bad.
We had the quests in ToA, Sardelac and outside LA for example.

Just looking at my game box just now, the box states "explore a world that dynamically grows and changes with new content while you play".

To help ArenaNet live up to this promise, i think it would be a fantastic idea (obviously) if each class was given a new skill every month.

People like new things, as can be seen all the time on the forums here. People talk over things until it's an overkill.

So how about it? ArenaNet, you have a bucket load of ideas from just the forums here and many threads can be found with many fantastic skills, incase you are left scratching your heads.
There are unlimited potential skills just itching to get into peoples skillbars and saving them all for the expansion is just being a big meanie

1 skill each month...what do ya say?

It's taken them this long to start balancing skills they knew were overpowered for close to a year. I can't imagine the havoc if 6 new skills were implemented every month.

Tactical-Dillusions has like unlocked everything with just one PvE toon
(something like that), and he still has skill points to spare.

Lightbulb Nice idea!

Personally, I think it's a brilliant idea! Now... we just have to think of a way to get it to Areanet... maybe as a "/bug" report- gotta be sneaky

maybe 1 skill per attrib, except the primary attrib they dont need to add to those really, and id also like to point out that (from my recollection) earth magic for eles doesnt have a "conjure" spell (like conjure lightning) nor does it have a "mind" spell (like mind burn and mind shock and mind freeze)so i would like it if they put these 2 spells for earth into the game, also why do fire and earth have only one elite?anyway good idea

Now that SF is settled down and things appear to be running smoothly, i can imagine a few of them sneaking off on a well earned break.
Let's hope they see this first!

They could have lots of tequila and end up drawing up some godly skills for us

Ranger - Toxic arrow

Shoot an arrow that poisons target foe. The players screen is blurred like the effects of dwarven ale for 60 seconds. Players character displays speech bubbles such as "I can't see" "Is that you Dave?" "Pin the tail where?" "My glasses!!!" "Whoa, watch that hole!"
This condition cannot be removed.

Ranger - Cupids arrow

Shoot target other ally with a magical blessed arrow to heal for 30 points. If that shot hits a monk ally, the shot heals for 60 instead.

Ranger - trip bomb

Set a trap that deals 50 damage to foes and knocks them down. These foes suffer exhaustion and lose 10 energy.

Ranger - Tripwire Elite and highly spammable.

Foe is knocked down but suffers no damage.

Ranger - "The promotional video shot"

Shoot an arrow on the move that deals for +10 damage.

Ranger - stacked shot

Stack your arrows up. For each use of this skill, one arrow is loaded onto your bow. Stack shot is released upon attacking. Maximum 6 arrows.

****MONK - OMG THIS IS COOL****

Divine ressurection - signet.

If you are a monk and have died, target adjacent living ally to gain two health regeneration from him. Targeted ally gains health degeneration of 4.
When you have reached full health, you are revived at full health and 0 energy.
Upon ressurection, targeted ally dies with D.P. If targeted ally dies before you are revived, the signet fails but is recharged.
Spell requires divine favor of 10.

"Res me"
"I don't have a res"
"Come here then, let me leech on you mwhuauhahuahaa"

Heh, I know how youfeel. That update for SF gave me 100 skill points after my first kill.

I think it would be an interesting idea, although they would really have to test them to make sure they're balanced.

They cover the length of necessity and situational rather well, the problem becomes when you make classes too alike others in a variety of ways, or skills which seem to overlap.

Of course, new skills are needed I think, just saying, may be a bit difficult per class to throw some out.

As a ranger... I like some skills posted up here.

But I think you`ll get really uninteresting skills after a while when implementing a new 1 every month.
