Default Well of Profane - The New Natures Renewal?!?

There was once a spirit, a very special spirit, called Natures Renewal. It dominated the tombs with its enchantment and hex stripping, until one day, it was nerfed!

Many threads were setup complaining about Natures Renewal, or NR as it was otherwise known. Many said it was 'Overpowered'. Well I'm here to say I think that Well of Profane is overpowered and that it should be either on A.Nets long list of skills to nerf, or should be considered to be made an Elite Skill.

Now, IMO, I think Well of Profane is even more 'overpowered' than NR when it was at its highest. Not only does it strip enchantments, but it stops you casting them there altogether! Granted, it does only affect a small area of the map, but when its planted on the altar, there is nothing you can do to protect the ghost.

Whilst playing today I realised a few things;

1. That the faggots who tried to get rangers nerfed have not succeeded (HAHAHAHA).

2. That Interrupt Rangers are the bane of my life.

3. That when a Well of Profane goes up on the altar, that my team is screwed if we are not holding.

Now I don't usually complain about nerfing skills. Infact I am all for trying new skills to come up with ideas like this. However I feel that 1 Interrupt Ranger with Punishing shot, Savage Shot and Distracting Shot etc being able to stop a ghost capturing an altar for 45 seconds just because something stopping enchantments from being there, is exetremely lame.

What do you guys think of this?

erm... well of profane needs a body, and has like a 3 second cast time I think. Interupting the hero is a perfectly legal tactic, its you who is letting the ranger interupt.

Perfectly legal strategy to interrupt a spell (any spell) being cast, it takes timing, not button mashing. Granted, the spell from the hero takes a rather long time to cast, making it very easy to interrupt . Well of Profane is also easily blocked. Either have your ranger interrupt the caster, or have your necro use the corpse for something else, such as well of blood.

OMG, bring a necro! What a unique idea! Bloodstained boots might help too. Or inspiration, fast cast, and necro skills to compete for that body. Putrid first corpse and well the second.

Well of Profane is the counter to smiters. I posted almost step by step instructions around here somewere on how to do it. Without Well of Profane no one would ever dislodge a good team from the altar. Right now I can stop a healing ball with only 2 characters using well of profane. And this is countering the best healing ball build that exist and is uncounterable. Without Well of Profane the healign ball couldn't be beat by anything (Well maybe 8 N/El with chillblains, Rend, and the rest AoE nukes from the earth line could do it if corrdinated correctly (Each person uses rend on 1 target and then they all use chillblains to counter enchants beign reapplied followed by nukeing targets and maybe have 1 N/R with frozen soil to stop the res.))

Well of Profane is neccessary and shouldn't be nerfed in any way.
