A new class (its not a redundant '"role" either!)
well for those of you who play/have played FFXI would know of this class as a Red Mage or RDM well for those of you who dont, the red mage is basically one who is a mage that is rather well rounded, not being limited to wands and staves or robes but can use armor and swords etc. its basically there to "tie up" the loose ends in a party(by tie up i mean, they can do many things, heal, deal dmg,can be a bit of a tank, etc.), the class i am making will be called an acrobat and can cast spells while in motion, the attributes
Flexibility-(primary not sure what it should be)
Destruction-uses skills and spells that involve dealing damage and negative conditions
Charming- use spells and stances that heal, increase armor and increase running speed
Disruption- hexes and interrupts
i know this sounds like some kind of Uber-class but these hexes and heals etc. arent as good as the actual prf tha uses them the weapons are, destruction-claws
charming-bracers
disruption-bladed tonfas (the things Talim uses from SC2)
i would post some skills but im in a rush

hate to break it to you, but the class is relatively redundent, (hint: the role it mimics starts with an R and has more armor than casters and more energy than rangers) and I couldn't help pointing out that there is nothing about

in SC2, they're referred to as "Wind Blades" and are actually just referred to as bladed tonfas, though next to no one uses them in back here in reality, normal tonfas are more popular in competitions and whatnot

Re-invents the wheel
That class would work if, Guild Wars didn't allow you to mix n' match diffrent class combinations. (Hell, a lot of new class ideas would work) So for example this class idea falls into the W/Me area. (however, Warrior primes have limited energy)
What i'm trying to understand is why do people keep coming up with class ideas that keep trying to "re-invent the wheel?" They say "no no, this idea doesn't re-invent the wheel." But, yeah it does...sorry.

Well, maybe the people who don't want to see 50 character options when 6 will do? There's a reason there's only one jack-of-all-trades class in Guild Wars. We only need one. If your primary class has a shortcoming, counter it with the secondary class.
Do not reinvent the wheel. Such a thing is useless.

Sorry dude but your idea just takes all the current classes and rolls them into one...if you're pissed about the feedback that people are giving you, then don't post on forums

In FFXI Red Mage, was a cross between Mage / Fighter who got access to a "specialized" set of spells later on (status affliction / self protection vs types of magic). The thing is with Red Mage, all of the dedicated mages (white / Black) or the combat classes would be better at there field. Where Red Mage excelled at is status affliction and secondary nuker or healer if you could not find a proper whm/blm, gw has Mes / Necro can cover status affliction and red mage being a "back" up white mage with the cure spells which can be covered with mes/monk or necro/monk.
I do like the idea of someone who can cast spells and move but less powerful of fill a specific "nitch" class. I could also see the self-buff spells like ward against fire, ice, melee, etc (and have more then one up) that would be there speciality. Maybe have nitch spells AOE weakness towards, melee, fire, ice, etc on your opponents. Just make there armor be better the Ele but not as effective as War.
Now a job I would love to see from ffxi is Beastmaster, charm red enemies to turn on other enemies (less bosses) and make it unique from Ranger.

Look, this is a forum. It is similar to real life in that there are people. Now, some people you will like, and some you will hate. This is a fact of life.
I have people on this forum I respect, and some people who I think are complete a**holes. Some people flame for fun. Some people try to leach off the good people.
As for your idea, apparently it wasnt well receieved. That doesnt give you the right to b*tch at people.
