After my first char, i found that the problem is not the money but its the skill points. I want to buy skills but i cant be bothered to get god knows how much exp to buy it. now nearly a full warrior skill bar and a full monk skill bar
so now i dont buy skills so fast for my other chars, i buy the ones which are useful for what im doing.

I believe that every skill in the game should be able to get by questing not just buying them at a skills trainer. The skills points are supposedly there for SOCs not just skills for instance when you come in post you have to go to Bartram and buy a few skills.I still need guardian and I am not ready to pay 1K plus skill point with level 20 Mo/W.When I do complete my ascension mission and doppleganger and get to dragons lair I will be able to cap shield of regen the elite of it although it would be nice to have guardian but I would rather do that as quest and I had to buy restorelife and heal other as there were no quests for those. There is now a quest for heal other but not when i bought it at quarrel falls.I suggest all non elites be avaible through quests. You could even do the same thing with elites instead of getting them in missions there is no difference.

New Idea: go capture guardian from a monk boss
edit:
btw, skills are overall much cheaper now. You need to think in the long term...

Go and find it
I'm pretty sure some monk bosses have guardian. And if not, than this is one of the 1% of skills that you really have to buy.
When you say, you want to earn the skill, capturing from a boss is the way to go. It is hard, it can be difficult to find the boss, but you really earn it.
I bought most skills, because I'm lazy. But a friend of mine is capturing skills only at the moment. He always has 1-2 SoC with him when we play PvE. He has captured a lot of normal skills.
There is also the surprise effect You don't know which skills (if any) you'll get. Isn't that exactly what you want? Or did I misundertood you and your desires?

But the thing is.. if you buy a capture sig to capture a regular skill when it would be the same cost of buying it right there and then then there's no money saved at all.. just more time to try to get some skill from a boss you don't even know that has it =P
If you like going through all the uneeded trouble for fun that's you. But I would just buy it and continue on what I was going to do than going on a lame side quest

I think the price is a little too high really.
Everyone says questing. So you mean as you make a new character do the quests and you'll get the skills. Yet if you played the game enough times through I must say it gets boring as hell to do the lame quests/storyline etc.
Even when you change your second profession you can do the quests again but I don't know who would do them again after going through all of that =P
In the end we have to just deal with it. Buy the skills or earn the money yes it's harder for the newer players but things happen.
(I would add something else but this is all of the top of my head)

Most sincerely I only have one PvE character the rest are all PvP I unlock skills with factions... thats it. If I plan on PvEing with another character, perhaps a necro or a ranger for fun I would wait quite a while before engaging in the PvE quest thingy otherwise yeah itll get bored quick as quick as trying to play FF7 three times in a row after finishing it succesfully twice from start to end IN A row.
