It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

I've just started playing Necro in the past week for the first time. If I have to plant Death Nova on the fly on a minion it's not easy to select one with the cursor while the camera is swinging around. If my minions are in a cluster fighting I'm clicking on enemies or party members half the time. Unless there's a trick I'm missing, this can get very frustrating. So I propose a hotkey to target your strongest (i.e. highest health) minion. Press it then you can cast Death Nova (or Balthazar's Aura, or whatever) on the strongest minion (or fiend, or horror). For a Ranger the same hotkey might function to target a pet (or strongest pet if the expansion happenst to provide for multiple pets). Conversely, there might even be a target weakest minion hotkey in case you're thinking of planting a heal (but that might be overkill micromanagement for something that's not supposed to live forever).
