Wanting for better rewards for high-lvl PVE characters
There's a lot of good and not so good things I can say about GW, but I still enjoy it. I'm mainly a PVE player (and yes I do PVP occassionally but I just don't prefer it, so don't say "go play PVP".) But my main complaint is the poor reward system. So I got 40,000xp for finishing the last Titan quest, but so what? The xp has no meaning, (it was the same let-down feeling after acsension, when you find out that you really get nothing for the emphasis placed on it, in fact runners can even skip the whole ascension process and still go on with the rest of the game!) You can't get more attribute points (which really should have been the reward for these quests, IMO) so your character never develops past what he/she was before. The whole obsession with rewarding xp needs to change because it is meaningless and a poor reward for players who want to keep supporting the game. I did enjoy the updates but was very disappointed with the reward system. I'm betting that once Bioware release their next Neverwinter Nights or its equivalent I'll lose all interest in GW because of this glaring flaw. I really hope they rethink this pointless xp reward system.

yeah, once you finish the game there's not much to do. From what you said, I believe you want to continue adding level or attribute points to your character after they hit lvl 20/ 200AP...that will never be able to happen unless they raise the cap to 40(expansion maybe?) or something because it would destroy pvp if pve characters could become "godly" or whatever. As to whats interesting to do...farm for FoW, but that made me bored....if it weren't for my switch from pve to pvp I wouldn't touch this game anymore.

They can give more attribures without raising the lvl20 cap. I have no trouble w the lvl cap. In Neverwinter Nights the last expansion allowed for epic classes going up to lvl40. It sounded good but then your character becomes so powerful the PvE game became non-challenging. I had 2 NWN characters who never did reach all the way to lvl40. By the time they got to lvl 37 or 38 nothing could stand in their way. I'm not porposing anything like that here, but giving more attribute points is a good way to reward continued play for us PvEers without unduly unbalancing things. But right now it's just not rewarding enough to earn 20,000xp that leads to nothing and really means nothing.

I would appreciate a way to exchange Skillpoints into actual goods. Combine that with some ways of reducing the costs. For example:
(all tied to the character in charge)
Game completed - Constant Price Reduction of -1 while exchanging
Done all Bonus Missions - Constant Price Reduction of -1 while exchanging
Uncovered the whole map - Constant Price Reduction of -1 while exchanging
Having prayed at all God Statues - Constant Price Reduction of -1 while exchanging
Done all quests - Constant Price Reduction of -1 whle exchanging
So now we have all this price reductions. Having all 5 of them makes up for a price reduction of 5 skillpoints to exchange when exchanging. This also makes it necessary for the minimum cost to be 1 skillpoint.
Now we have this NPC, let's call him Tutorial Dude. He asks for the help of experienced adventurers to aid the new ones. In exchange for skillpoints (equaling time tutoring in this scenario) he will also reward you with items and goods of your choice, scaled by your effort. Simply put:
15x rare material, used for prestige armors - 6 Skillpoints
1x Rainbow Dye Set (one of each kind) - 7 Skillpoints
1x Obsidian Shard - 8 Skillpoints
1x Ectoplasm - 10 Skillpoints
1x Max Upgrade - 25 skillpoints
1x Changing the base model of a weapon - 50 Skillpoints (from flatbow to stormbow.. etc... but only within the class of the weapon)
etc
This doesn't work on Collector Items and every item created is also instantly bound to your character so you can't trade them. This way you finally get a use for all those skillpoints dwindling around. All the exp scrolls get another use too. Don't hammer on those numbers... i've just made them up from my mind and they should of course be different. Maybe even be tied to the Vendors.
/edit: forgot something:
Also decrease de-implement the XP Scale when the partysize is smaller than 50 % of the should-be size. Just to prevent farming of Skillpoints.

That's a good idea too, or maybe the xp can be exchanged for gold directly. I've been saving for a sup absorption rune for my warrior forever, I'm not even half way there! I'm tired of farming hours on end, so the option of exchanging all those useledss xp for gold would be most welcome.

Losing EXP would however include the possibility of leveldowns. And i doubt that will happen anytime soon.

For most lvl20s who have done all the quests and missions that's pretty unlikely. I have so much useless xp on both my characters it's ridiculous. Even if there's a risk of lvlling down it would be worth it, and would be a check on new lvl20s abusing the system. You'd have to weigh the consequences of trading your excess xp for atttributes or gold, so it would actually be a good thing, IMO, I don't see any down sides. I've actually stopped doing the little pick-up quests inside Sorrows because I just think; "why would I want or need another 6000xp?" This really the biggest flaw in the game as far as I'm concerned, and the biggest impediment to my continued play.
