Economy fix idea - Weapons and eqipment formulas/crafters
Not sure if something like this has been posted allready but I think a good way of improveing the game economy would be to install weapon and equipment formulas. Lets say ur questing around Ring of fire and an unidentified formula drops. U go and identify it and it proves to be a fellblade formula. U could then use (doubleclick) this formula and unlock the option that a weaponcrafter could craft a fellblade for you. The damage mod on the weapon would increase its cost varying on its type and bonus ammount, and also the items needed for its creation would differ from specific stat to specific stat. The requirement would also pump up the cost of the item. I am not saying to make them cheap , but im saying make them reasonably priced. For instance a 15>50% req 9 fellblade could cost 100k (this would mean the total price = value of materials needed + actual money price ) but this money would be going down a sink instead of hanging around and creating this huge money overload. Some formulas or special required materials could even be handed out as rewards on quests to make questing more interesting. That also could give roubies , saphires , monstruos claws etc a decent puropse.
This item would be customised for you on creation and it would still need mods to be found to be finalised.
Another way to approach this would be that instead the use of formulas weaponcrafters would need to learn what makes a certain weapon , so they would need in eg. 100 fellblades to master crafting a fellblade. In that way a common one could count as 1 uncommon as 2 and rare as 3 contributed to the number. Upon giving the armorcrafter 100 points in fellblades he could then craft the weapon for u as specified above. In this second manner you could even get more out of common items that drop then simply convering it to gold adding to the gold overload spawn.
These craftable items could be made with new different textures to differ from the ones that drop, also reflecting the crafters own trademark on them.
This could be even more detailed requireing special damage type formulas or masses of common items for each damage type.
I would very much like to hear what u have to say on this. Please comment criticise or maybe even praise :P
Thanx for reading
