stop being noobs and complaining about nerf..
I know this may seem flamish but guys... stop being noobs and whining about the nerf. Just because you fire eles and your 10 fire skills and your pumped up ego about how your nukes are so powerful even though all the nukers basically run the same set up, and that now you cant nuke, actually take some ideas from pvp and you can still do it no problem. Ever thing about using slow downs on the enemy? Examples of this would be using ward vs foes then nuking them. Another would be cripple and even hexes, so stop being so narrow minded with your boring same old fire skill bar, and use somthing creative. I mean there are other elements other than fire, combine them, read the descriptions, learn how you can tie them together.

i think it is funny that the enemies run away from AoE, i bet it will be a while before they come up with a new solo build for UW now

One question: Does this mean henchmen run out of AoE too?
Because several times when I have made the walk to Marhans Grotto with them fighting ice imps, alesia and lina and dunham kept dieing because they wouldn't move out of the malestroms, as they couldn't cast and continually lost health.

I think the update said that henchmen and monsters alike would flee from an aoe.

Yes, they do. The henchies actually stay alive on Perdition Rock now.
I beat the first quest with my level 6 Water Mage with three Level 3 henchies on the first shot too, so even with low levels and no Fire Magic whatsoever, the game is still doable.
I should try the bonus to Thunderhead Keep now. >=-)

I just thought, this also means that some of my ele friends in my guild can no longer farm the Black Curtain. Haha to them. I think this is great.

I think the reason that people dont understand the full problem with this, is they just think about the builds that are abused when they think AoE.
Well alot more than Fire Nukers and Smiters got nerfed here. As a Mesmer, I lost atleast 5 spells. Chaos Storm being one of the top ones. Also Shatter Hex cant be used anymore. If anything, it hits one monster. Monsters will now run away from the one hexed with Panic. Signet of Weariness isnt worth it anymore.
I mean, its not just one or two classes. Everyone got hit by this.
