I'm sure ANet could do this, and probably does, but I would like to see some of the following stats:

Total number of creatures killed for your characters
Total amount of money collected / spent for your characters
Player with the most kills (maybe something like current Guild ranking)
Player with most the experience points (see above)

And being an old pencil & paper rpg player, I would like to see tables with all the monster stats...hp/ac/weaknesses....etc

What do y'all think?

^^ they already have deaths. /deaths. Unless you mean person who has the most deaths. That and the ones already mentioned by the OP would be neat.

I have always wanted a kill counter. If i were to guess, it is probably many many millions that i have killed alone.

If Anet could provide us with our statistics without it becoming a "my stats are bigger than yours" type of thing. And if it causes no problems server side etc, then i agree.

yeah i would like to see a /kills emote, but the ranking system doesn't seem like all that great of an idea to me

1. Yes, I want a kill counter, and hell, while we're at it, WHAT type of creatures on a sublist, that you've killed. /signed

3. Eh, cool idea in theory, but then everyone would be out farming to try to "Usurp" the spot. /notsigned

FFXI had an interesting annual event. It was called "adventurer appreciation." It basically told you your stats, such as chat frequency, enemies killed, times died, etc... and gave you a random prize for checking your stats. Perhaps Anet could do something similar for a short time.
