Battle/Dragon Mage class idea
I'm not to sure which name to call this class, a Battle Mage or Dragon Mage. Maybe with your input,to see if this type of class fits into GW or not. You can also help choose which name sounds better. And sorry if this post is to long.
In a cave in the northeastern area of Cantha, a young man named Drakanous runs into his master's mediation room and bows, then say "Master Thang". The old and wise dragon says " Yes I know, that two dark forces have upraised. Tell King Zarr that his brother King Adelbern, has done his part. But the Char & White Manta have become allies, to kill everything that is good". Drakamous takes his bo-staff and whip from the weapons rack, then turns away from his matster. Master Thang then says "Are you forgetting some thing?", Drakanous turns and says "Master?" Master Tang slides Drakanous two short swords. Drakanous looks at the two sword and how thier duel blades shine in the candle light, then he smiles and says " Thanks you master." Drakanous runs out of the mediation room.
Attributes:
Chi Mastery(primary): Every rank gives an additional 2% to chi attacks, parry, block, evade, healing, and enchantment skills. And increases the effectiveness of Chi-based skills.
Duel Wielding: Increases damage and effectiveness of sword strikes and Sword-based skills
Whip Mastery: Increases damage and effectiveness for whip strikes and Whip base skills.
Bo-Staff Mastery: Increases rank for damage and effectiveness for bo-staff stirkes and Bo-Staff base skills.
Chi Skills:
Flying Punch: Chi:5
You punch a foe, and foe is hit with 40 damage and is knocked down for 2...16 seconds.
Body Harding : Chi:10
While you maintain this "Enchantment", you or target ally's armor get's +20%. And you lose all chi points for 3 seconds.
Flight of a Dragon: Chi: 8
You levitat off the ground and can parry/evade foe's attack for 2..30 seconds.
Healing Soul: Chi:7
When you target an ally, that ally get's 10..150 health points, and you lose all chi points.
Duel Weilding Skills:
Dragon Claw: E:10 I C:2 I R: 8
You strike target foe with both swords and foe takes +15 from each sword.
Dragon Rage: E: 5 I C:1 I R:15
You do multi sword strikes to target foe for 2...20 seconds.
Whip Mastery Skills:
Dragon's Tail E:10 I C:1 I R:10
When a you use a whip, target foe's skills/spells are interrupted, and foe suffer's from deep wounds for 1...30 seconds.
Tail Thrash: E:5 I C:3 I R:15
You spin around, you hit target foe and foes in area. Foes suffer 25 damage for every 1...10 seconds. This is a AoE skill.
Staff Skills:
Claw Stomp: E:10 I C:2 I R:8
When you use a staff, you knock down foe for 1...10 seconds, and foe takes 15 damage.
Bone Cracker: E:15 I C:1 I R:10
Then you strike a foe, that foe is crippled for 5...25 seconds. This is a condition skill.
Armor class 65-75, this makes this character class second in tank style class. Swords that are single bladed, do the same damage as a warrior's sword. But the duel bladed swords do damage of that of a hammer. A whip and bo-staff do the same damage as a wand, but are min range stye of weapons.

Sorry to say.. but I already wrote a class about Martial Art Bare hand fighting Brawler of Chi Master, and it is LOT BETTER THAN YOURS!!!!!!! BUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Finish HIM!
anyway, all joke aside. Not a bad class, and good to see someone interested in Eastern Fantasy setting. The Whipe is a interesting weapon to see, do tell how it is differnt from other. Of couse, you biggest enemy for this class is the Assassin, since it is pretty much have the same role as an Ass. What does that Chi thing do? RO has a pretty good Monk class that use Chi bubble, which give me good inspiration for my unarm class, feel free to take a look.
I might post my Fighter class some later time.... maybe...

Yes, but I was thinking more like a martial artist and meser style. But hay that's alot better.

The way the whip can be different, is in it's attack speed. The whip can strike a foe even half a second when you use it. That and you don't have to be up close in a battle. Meaning that a tank is frontline, your mid point and the casters are far back. And if a foe targets say your monk, you can strike that foe, plus take the hit meant for the monk.
The Chi works is like adrenaline does for the Warroir. Example Backbreaker or Hammer Bash and the warrior needs x number of adrenaline points to use those skills . But with Chi, a Chi skill charges up much faster depending on how much attribute points a player puts in the Chi Mastery, meaning that a Chi skill can charge up to 2 times faster than adrenaline skill. And the Chi skills also get an added bonus of how long the skill last.
Also Chi points only work with the primary Chi Mastery skills. Meaning that if a player choose say Warrior, then Battle(or Dragon) Mage as a secondary, that player does not get the Chi Mastery attribute or any of the Chi Mastey skills, just the three weapon attributes.
And yes I'm interested in Eastern Fantasy setting. I think GW needs afew hand to hand classes, just for fun.

Yes I know that the assassin will be put in the game, but who know's what the skills and weapons are.

Knock out durations are way too long and therefore very badly unbalanced compared to other professions. No one would play other professions if those skills would be in Chapter 2
Even 4-5 seconds knock down feels like eternity

You know that's one thing that I didn't think about as being the down side. So now the Knock out durations are only 1 second. And I did abit of changes to those skills. Thanks for pointing that out.
So now...
Flying Punch: Chi:5
You punch a foe, and foe is hit with 5...40 damage and is knocked down for 1 second.
Claw Stomp: E:10 I C:2 I R:8
When you use a staff, you knock down foe for 1 second, and foe takes 6...28 damage.
P.S. Right now and maybe the next 2-3 days, I'll be working on another class idea, but this time I'll try an work out the bugs.
