Default Gold Drop Proportion to Party size

So yes...this will piss off solo farmers...but i propose that the amount of gold drop depends on party size.

ie: a party of 1 will get the same amount of gold per enemy on average the same as a party of 6 or 8 who are in the exact same area.

So a monster would no longer drop sacks gold from the 70s-8s range but rather in the 10s-15s range.

GW says it has no issue with twice the average earning power so i propose that IN HIGHEST LEVELS ONLY the drops are reduced to party number plus 2.

meaning the maximum a solo SF person could grab would be equal to all the goodies from a 3 person group instead of an 8 person group.

which is still a lot compared to the lower levels.

if you put an official limit on it it may stop the general nerfing of drope for the rest of us

No way.. Is this even serious?

So you're saying, fighting on your own should be made more useless? Because that's what will happen..

/no its easy enough to go out on your own, hell even in a party and make gold. fissure runs even without getting shard drops i get about 2k per run. not to mention other useful goodies that sometimes u can sell for more. like a 5:1 bowstring or something like that.

The ones that can't read, either. I thought there was a duplicate topic right down there.. oh well.

If he's saying what I think he is, all he means is that in an 8 person group, each person will get as much drops as if they were solo farming.

You can solo farm and still get just as much.
I don't see the problem with this. Go solo farm if you want, no one's stopping you. Meanwhile the rest of us can have fun and not suffer for it.

I'd love to see how many people would object to this if it was implemented. It would really show you how many hypocrits there are, neh? "I farm solo cause I hate people", "I like to spend time alone", "PUGs are frustrating". Bullshit. You spend time solo farming for money, and that's that. And suddenly we have a ton of angry people because now everyone can do it.

Gotta love the average gw player.

Actually, the average gw would love this. The average GWG poster on the other hand, are apparently mad, raving, greedy solo-farmers and hate to see group players get put on an even level.

I made a similar thread recently and the people who read properly supported the idea, but most solo-farmers didn't bother to do even that before going "hell [email protected]!!"

Also, there are a lot of ways to equalize the loot, some ways that do not antagonize too many people (ie solo-farmers). Check this post for more info on that.
