Default Arena Suggestions

Im sure some of these have been suggested before but searching didn't find them.

1. Arena Timer: After 15 minutes, on each arena map, the team with the most kills wins. This would end some stalemates and prevent "runner/pure defensive" griefing.

2. Monkless arena OPTION: An extra arena location where monk primaries and secondaries are NOT ALLOWED. To preempt, it would be an OPTION for those who want fast paced matches with less healing available.

3. Dragons Lair style arenas: Area degen, regen, a random environmental effect that would require some thinking to overcome.

4. Level 20 ONLY arena: No lower levels allowed.

5. PvP/PvE character ONLY arenas. Want to play without PvE or PvP toons, this would be an option.

6. More reward for CA/TA. If GW sticks with the (IMO poor) fame system, players should get a point of fame for each streak of 5 victories. It makes no sense that tombs is the only place to get fame. On a different note, GvG should have fame rewards also, probably more than tombs.

These would all be very simple to do.

1. Yes
2. I dont see it happening, but an easier way to get the same effect would be just to reduce the effect of healing by 100% (would work better combined with #3)

4. Yes
5. No. I dont really see a point
6. There should be some type of reward. Not fame. Maybe extra faction/xp. Ladder ranking is the GvG fame.

1. No, because what if niether team has a kill by 15 min? I think the team with the highest overall morale or hp should get the win. So not really a no I guess.

2. No, because if you're a monk you can still smite and necromancers and other proffessions can heal. I think all classes should be allowed, but I think that you shouldn't be able to gain any life at all. Protection skills could still work, etc, but there wouldn't be any life gains or anything.

3. I agree, definitely a good idea. Maybe also throwing in Slow Totem and other items and things to bring around and use for strategy. And in addition make the item that comes each time random. You might get the slow totem one time you're at a place and next time you might get a spike trap bomb (as seen in the desert) or not. Just an idea.

4. Yes, but in addition to all level 20, you should also have all 200 attribute points.

5. I think this is a good idea, at least only for PVE only characters. There's not a lot that distinguishes them after they beat the game, but if they had their own area to fight in against other people who worked up to that point, then yeah it's equal ground.

6. I kind of agree with you, but i think fame is strictly for HoH. You already get an extra 25 faction for every 5 wins you get in comp arenas and you have guild rank and fame aswell. They all have the same stuff, so no.
