I think you have a very distorted view of what it takes to win in Tombs. And if a leader, no matter what age is not bossing, they are not good leaders.

Well take me for example, i have 0 fame but have done tombs more times than one person should without gaining any fame... why is this?.. because I just happen to get into bad groups with no game plan going in (Not like i care im there to have fun not to win)

However i could take the easy street to getting fame... I could whip out my monk and yell "heal monk lfg with ts" and watch the good party offers fly, sit back and heal while my team does all the work and basicly leech fame... but i choose not to do this because i don't want to listen to some 14 year old group leader boss me around

In closing fame has little to do with one's individual skill, but rather a groups skill all together....

finding a group is part of skill oO

anyway is not pve , in pvp monk arent rare (well good one are rare) and the sit back and heal dont work

people shouldn't be able to buy fame and faction. it's like buying your way into the military. they'd be in a situation that they have no idea how things work and would be overwhelmed at the larger scale battles. the amount of teamwork that is required in Tombs is much greater than a CA or TA battle.

Faction into Gold, however, is something i can support. it'd be like strengthening the bond between PvP and PvE, almost.

well if we have so much faction and unlocked practically everything from the priest, i say let us use our factions to unlock the citadel/grotto armor for our pvp's. i dont care if it costs 10k faction a piece, at least my faction would go somewhere besides no where.

Being able to trade faction for fame would be another reason for people to grind CA/TA 24/7 until they got to R3, or whatever. That's not in the spirit of the game-no matter how ludicrous the exchange rate is made (e.g. 10k faction for 1 fame-as an example) rest assured, people will do it. And that's not good.

Fame/rank doesn't necessarily indicate skill, but it does indicate experience (but not with any certain character, but your account as a whole). And experience seems to be undervalued by those without fame/rank. It counts for A LOT.
