the only thing that bugs me in gw is that when you reach higher level areas and pvp, alot of characters end up with the same weapons, either collectors, or just ones that all look the same. for example all pyromancers have a fire staff or wand and focus, and visually are all identical. Earlier in the game, there are quest items which look different and unique, but there stats are not very good. also there are some items with rare models, but finding these with stats to equal even collector items is difficult.

I think there needs to be some way to refine weapons, maybe pay a little gold the first time, and the more you refine it, it becomes more expensive and requires more materials etc. each time you refine it, the max damage is increased by 1, until it reaches the maximum. and you can refine it in differnt ways, such as adding extras, like 1 or 2% on improves cast/recharge time perhaps. eventaully and after alot of money you could make a weak weapon, a good one hence allowing you to pick weapons purely for its looks and not stats. What does everyone think?
