Yep, atlast some one with some sence. If you have more than 4 slots, It would put up costs on the game. 4 is enough, you have enough character slots to unlock all the skills you could want.

The flaw in that thinking is that you will have 3 out of 6 character professions that you unable to assign attribute points to the primary attribute.
This prevents any accuracy in the character build and skill experimentation department. Yeah sure you can use divine favor skills as a secondary Monk, but unless your a primary monk, how will you be able to determine their usefulness?
With refund points, 6 PvE slots will allow for every possible build in the game.

Agreed. Mainly, the cost thing. They give us 4 slots at 50 dollars, which is very reasonable. It's not like you can go up to them and say "Here's 10 more <insert currency here> now give me more character slots please." I mainly say that, because thye have their set amount of servers, and they've been nailing away at the right amount of character slots everyone should get, based on what their servers can handle. I'm sure if their servers could handle 6+ characters per person, they wouldn't have released the game with only 4 slots.

I agree with the thinking that 4 slots is enough but I would like to have 6 slots so I could experiment with 1 character of each of the main classes. So I guess I sign. LOL, not a very ringing endorsment.

Thank you for my chuckle of the day. This really brightened my afternoon at work. Please keep posting your guesses and assumptions, they have a great entertainment value.

Didnt I just mention in the post you quoted that you cant remake -roleplay- characters at level 20 with all unlocked skills?
Maybe I dont just want to PvP ALL the time. Maybe I want to help guildies out with a mission, or we need a specific class for an underworld run. They might need my nuker, OR my healer / protector, OR my tank. PvP characters could not support guildmates in the UW last I knew. Besides, I will allow myself to enjoy the game the way I want, and changing classes for PvE is entertaining to me.

Thats right, just... I dont farm, and I dont grind. As mentioned above, I play the game the way that is fun for me, and farming is not part of this. Instead, I buy those runes. Quick, easy, and more fun than mass killing mobs in the same area for hours.

|
Haha. Go check the rune trader sometime... and see how many superiors can be bought for under 5k. Thats nothing if you just normally progress through the game and finish it with two characters

Why do you assume I'm a boy? Maybe I'm a girl. But I'll give you a hint, my name is not Nancy, but it does sound quite female.
Anyway... is telling me how I NEED to play the game so I dont need more character slots (and so I dont enjoy it anymore) a solution and a valid argument? Let me think really hard...
...no, I dont think so.

lmao
You guys are really, so lame. never happy are you, always gotta have more.
We shall start from the beginning...
Perhaps you should of thought about your characters before you just tossed random builds together and spent 100+hours on them. There are only 6 classes, and each character gets 2 classes, so you only need 3 chars to be able to play all classes to some degree, I understand you can't play every combination, but then you would need like 15 or so char slots? and that is just not realistic, anyway, then they add in that you will be able to switch your secondary class, so you really only need one char to unlock all skills.
Ok, so now we've figured out that only one char is required to unlock everything, correct?
Now I understand that for gvg there may be times where your team needs a certain class to round out the group, so what are the possible needs of the group? another tank? healer? support?
Now were up to 3 used character slots, you've unlocked everything, and you still have one char slot open for random class testing, another rpg char, whatever you want. even a pack mule if you should so desire.
I don't understand what the big hubub is about people needing so many more character slots. You just don't need em.
And if your really gonna lose sleep over this, remember that a-net did mention that their was a possiblity of new playable races in future expansions, and they are so good at working with the player base, you know they won't limit you to 4 char slots if they add in new races, they just wouldn't, so if it's really buggin you that much, just chill out for a bit, play the game, and wait for the expansion to come out in december, or whenever they plan to release it.

um did i ask for a person to attack my post no i didnt and think about it i have four characters and i like the armor and primary attributes such as divine favor, soul reaping and etc but you cant get them if your arnt the primary proffesion so use your head!
p.s. i also heard that a-net will be charging for this expansion which i will pay but they probly wont release payment ways that i can use so ill have to stick with the original.

You havent read my posts, have you? If you did (which I strongly doubt), I'd like to hear some counter-arguments to mine. I have yet to hear any. People just like to ignore them - I guess it means they are valid.
