Ok, well it appears you are trying to get pictures straight from your hard drive. First find a free hosting site like imageshack, upload your photos, then type the
[img]url goes here[/img].

Just in case you still don't understand how:

You first need to get your picture hosted on webspace. You can get free webspace from many providers. Once you have it hosted all you need to do it obtain the link to it (resembles the 'http://www.' address in all internet windows) and then put that link in between an [IMG] and [/IMG] tag pair.

computer nerds FTW

...i remember that i used to play games on my moms computer and some game saved screenshots to her my documents folder...and her "My Documents" was called "Mom's stuff"

so basically my link said...

[img]C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Mom's Stuff\123.jpg[/img]

...needless to say, i never did that again ^_^
