I think there is no easyer build for your w/mo
i'm using almost the same build with:
healing :8
axe.m. :13 (sup rune on boots)
tactics:16 (sun rune on tactics helm)
ya don't need mending.. take another attack skill
and don't forget to switch boots for an other build

Knights boots for damage reduction... or Ascalon Helm. If your Tactics is the highest then this saves attributes over an Axe helm.

I've been having really good sucess with Feel No Pain's build that's just Strength, Tactics and Healing. Riposte and optionally Deadly Riposte are the main damage dealers.
Very easy and you'll pretty much only ever die if you get 8+ on you, or 6+ with a Devourer or 2.

Holy Wrath, Retribution, Balzhazar Spirit, Mending, Healing Hands, Bonett's Defence, Reposite, and some other skills.
Use bonetti then healing hands.
This build is all about balance

Here's mine, it's pretty fast as long as the rockshots don't spawn.

edit: you need gladiator set with ascalon helmet, the collectors smiting rod from Droknar and preferably Malinon's shield for this build.

My build--
W/Mo with +45/-2 Stance Collectors Shield and Sundering Battle Axe of Fortitude [Collectors as well (+15% dmg while ench)]
I'm at school so I cannot verify the attributes but Balth Aura does 20 dmg, Glad Stance goes for 9 or 10 seconds, Healing has Vigorous Spirit at +8
Healing 8 or 9
Smiting 10
Axe 9 or 10
Tactics 9 to 12 (not sure)
Rest into Strength
I have a Major Absorption and Major Vigor as well as Minor Axe, Tactics, Strength. 584hp in stance, 27 Energy. (Glads 15k with 15k Asc Helm)
Bonetti's Defense
Cyclone Axe
Balthazar's Aura
Gladiators Defense
Vigorous Spirit
Healing Breeze
Live Vicariously
Mending
I've contemplated writing up a guide, but since there seems to be many anyhow I've not followed through on it.
If you'd like me to, please mention so... Off to class!

my one is as follows
8 healing
14 tac (+2)
10 smite
bathazars spirit
mending (3+)
bonettis defence
gladiators defence
riposte
deadly riposte
healing breeze (6+)
healing signet
it is possible if u are attacking and being hit 25% of the time to keep both glads defence and bonettis going in turns
I can take about 5 griffons on easily 5 or more is getting ''iffy''
the only bad thing is i can't take on anything that doesnt use melee so i have to outrun rockshot devourers :< atleast the skills are easy to obtain though

Armor
Ascalon Helm (Minor Tactics)

Skills

Gladiator's Defense
Sprint
Judge's Insight
Vigorous Spirit
Live Vicariously
Strength of Honor
(my) Equipment
Zealous Summit Axe of Shelter
Slashing Damage: 6-28 (req. 10 Axe Mastery)
Damage +12% (while Health is above 50%)
Armor +7 (vs. physical attacks)
Energy gain on hit: 1
Energy regeneration: -1
[Note: Shelter is not needed. I have it on my axe for when I solo Spider farm in FoW. A better option would be something along the lines of Fortitude.]
Crimson Carapace Shield
Armor: 12 (req. 8 Tactics)
Health +45 (while enchanted)
Received damage -2 (while enchanted)
Strategy
Run out to the Griffon's while ignoring all the other monsters in your way. Use Sprint whenever you have some Rockshot Devourer's chasing you. As you begin to aggro your mob and have a decent number of them attacking, cast Cyclone Axe followed by Bonetti's Defense, and then Live Vicariously. Next, do the exact same thing except instead of casting Live Vicariously, cast Strength of Honor (Cyclone Axe -> Bonetti's Defense -> Strength of Honor).
Repeat this action again, except cast Judge's Insight after Bonetti's Defense (Cyclone Axe -> Bonetti's Defense -> Judge's Insight). Now that 3/4 of your enchantments are up, you can start to really go on the offensive.
Hit Cyclone Axe, followed by Bonetti's Defense, Vigorous Spirit, and finally Gladiator's Defense. Whenever you have the opportunity to use Cyclone Axe, use it. And as soon as Judge's Insight is recharged, use Cyclone Axe, followed by Bonetti's Defense and Judge's Insight. By the time your Vigorous Spirit runs out, Gladiator's Defense will be recharged. At this time, you should hit Cyclone Axe, Bonetti's Defense, Vigorous Spirit, Gladiator's Defense. Lather, rinse, repeat, until the mob is dead.
With this method, you will rarely get hit. When you do, Cyclone Axe will easily refill your health, as well as dealing 20-25+ plus damage to all enemies per swing, so long as you have Judge's Insight and Strength of Honor active. Bonetti's isn't needed at all, really, but is simply for the 75% block and the fact it takes only 8 strikes of adrenaline to use. By using a zealous axe, every swing of Cyclone Axe will net you around 10 energy (depending on your group size), and it only costs 5.
With a little practice, you will be able to clear the desert in no time.

Brandon Harlin, just north of Dunes of Despair by a teleporter. He wants 5 Encrusted Lodestones (Sand Elementals drop these IIRC)
BTW - While farming griffs/minos I can take on 10+ with Rockshots being a minor irritant and do just fine. I think I'll find myself writing a guide in the not too distant future...
