Henchman Levels
I'd like to present ye guys a few ideas of mine, that is changes for henchies. And I'll try to write shortly. I write because Guild Wars Support team have redirected me to post ideas in some of the "forums where ur fellow players will see them in first hand" (or something like that). I think that nobody else has told about that, since its kind of things people dont usually talk about. I've asked a few mates of mine is this idea good, with a positive answer. Here it goes:
Henchman Levels - Whats the point? Wanna go on some 20 k glint quest and what do you notice? That the henchies are at lower lvl than required! (usually 15 or below 15 lvl ;xcept for ddf) How could we help that? It works this way :
a) ur a 20 lvl, if u hire a henchie, the henchie is lvl 20, if ur lvl 1, the henchie is lvl 1 etc
b) if there are more than 1 player in a team, henchman level depends on the average of the player's levels( for example, 20 lvl and a 10 lvl player team hire a henchman , lvl calculation - 20 + 10 : 2 = 15 lvl wow im such a genius ) This thing would prevent most of the powerleveling to give other players a chance, so poor people = rich people. Bad side of this is that players can still powerlevel by griffons, mountain trolls etc etc etc. The calculation for the lvls should happen in the moment when players go out of a safe-zone area(like city , mission-city) so it would prevent exploits.
EDIT : It would also be a good idea if player-leavers would be replaced with henchmen, and that henchman would have the same skills , (but will still have armor and level depending on lvls of the rest of the team)
I doubt that it will work , and it will be posted on sticky, or even sent to guild wars support to change it, but its always worth a try.Sorry all for my poor piece of english, thats because im from europe and im foreign etc. I'd like to know what you guys think of it , and moderators, a close look.If i find some time, ill surely post ye guys back.Have fun in guild wars, Yours faithfully(or something like that ) Max The Owner

Trying to do the Glint quests as is, getting team for those is next to impossible, and if some people happen to pop by, there will never professions you'd need.
Did Denravi with 'one at a time at 60% DP'-style, unfortunately that strategy doesn't work for LDD and Kryta. Bump for L20 henchies to those places, atleast for L20'ies that have the Titan quests open...

Not really necessary. On two seperate occasions I have come || this close to killing Glint with all henchies. All I'm really missing is a good interrupt, because Necromancers only get Spinal Shivers.

they are talking about the glint quests... not killing glint. And I see lots of people trying to team up for the glint quests in ascalon, kryta. Of course you can only have 4 in the group which makes the ascalon one probably hard to do. I believe lv20 hench and a group of 8 for those with glint quests would be a great idea.

Not speaking about killing Glint, but..
SPOILER WARNING DON'T READ BELOW
the quests that Glint gives after completing Ring of Fire missions, starting with Defend Droknar's Forge (kill evil titans, no problem as the henchies at the outposts there are L20), and after completing DDD, it opens up 3 quests, one at Ascalon, one at Kryta and 3rd at Henge of Denravi. Ascalon one is pretty annoying, since teamsize is 4, and the henchies are way low level.. L24 charr really eat them alive in a single hit.
edit: Mavrik beat me by few minutes

"Signet of Approval"
So far as I can tell it sounds fair, especially with the whole idea of averaging the lvls in a team.
P.S. If it's any consolation, on the Ascalon Quest, LDD, you get the king and I think 4 other npcs (lvl 20s) to help you, 2 healers and two warriors. So as long as you act like the NPCs are part of your team and keep them alive, you should be fine. That said, I still ended up with 60% DP by the end, burning bites. >.<
