Two new potential weapon mods
A critical hit modification - This gives a +1 to +5% chance of a critical hit. This is added to the current chance for a critical hit, it doesnt replace it. That is why it is 1-5, a very small amount.
A mod to help decrease evasion/block chance - This mod would give a 1 - 10% chance for evasion and block effects to fail.
This would only work once per attack IE, if someone has Guardian and Aegis on them, and this strikes through Guardian, it wouldn't have any effect on Aegis.

I want something like
Reduce the cost of next [attribute] skill/spell by [number 1-3] energy at [5%..25%].
(fill in to with a blance number)
so maybe like a "Flamelord staff head" that has 10% chance of reducing energy cost of Fire spell by 3 energy.

How about a sword pommel of fate, where every hit has a (0.001...0.010) chance to either kill the wielder or the target (50..40-50..60)
And when yuo get frustrated from dying, someone can point out it was fate.

Staff wrapping of hexing I can see.
But in case you didn't notice, this thread wasn't a call for all of you to post your own ideas. I mean thats cool, but I also want to see what people think of my ideas.

I was all prepared to sniff dismissively, but I actually kind of like these ideas. They could certainly provide alternatives to the vampiric and zealous mods, especially for assassins.

The ideas you mentioned are nice alternatives. Assassins are the most vulnerable to energy loss and stances, so the inclusion of these, while not gamebreaking, could be a viable alternative to current mods.
Hilts that increased the chance to dual-stike would be neat as well >_>
